What is Axie Infinity?
AXS is the governance and staking token of Axie Infinity, a blockchain game by Vietnam-based studio Sky Mavis in which players collect, breed and battle creatures called Axies. Holders can stake AXS and vote on community treasury decisions, and the token is also spent on in-game actions such as breeding. The game runs mainly on Ronin, an Ethereum-linked chain that Sky Mavis built for it.
