What is Wormhole?
W is the governance token of Wormhole, a messaging protocol that lets blockchains such as Solana, Ethereum and many others pass data and tokens to one another. Cross-chain messages are verified by a network of 19 independent validators called Guardians. W launched in 2024 with a large community airdrop and is designed as a natively multichain token that moves between networks without wrapping.
