Kaspa (KAS) is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency built on a blockDAG, a structure that lets many blocks be created in parallel instead of in a single chain. This design, based on the GHOSTDAG protocol, allows very short block times and fast confirmations. KAS is used for payments and transaction fees, and the network had a fair launch in November 2021 with no pre-mine.
