What is Terra Luna Classic?
Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) is the native coin of the original Terra blockchain, which collapsed in May 2022 when its algorithmic stablecoin UST lost its dollar peg. After the crash, a new chain took the LUNA name, and the old chain and its coin were renamed Terra Classic and LUNC. The Cosmos SDK-based network is now run by its community, and LUNC is used for fees, staking and governance, including votes on token burns.
