Below: what you own, how an order works, when you can trade and what the launch campaign pays.

How it works

Four things to know

  • 01

    Real shares, not tokens

You buy US-listed shares. Alpaca Securities LLC (FINRA/SIPC member) executes the order and holds the shares in custody. Not a token, not a CFD.

  • 02

    Paid in USDC

Orders are paid and settled in USDC from your Unified Trading Account (UTA). No bank transfer needed.

  • 03

    From 5 USDC

Fractional shares on eligible stocks: put in 5 USDC and you own a slice of a share.

  • 04

    24 hours, 5 days

Pre-market, regular hours, post-market and an overnight session for supported stocks, Sunday evening to Friday evening (New York time).

Your first stock order in 5 steps

  1. 1

    Open your account

Open a Bybit account where the service is offered and complete Advanced Identity Verification. Stocks need the advanced level.

  2. 2

    Put USDC in your UTA

Deposit or convert to USDC and keep it in your Unified Trading Account. Stock orders are paid from there.

  3. 3

    Go to TradFi → Stocks

In the Bybit app or on the website, open TradFi and choose Stocks.

  4. 4

    Search the ticker

Type AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, QQQ or any of the 1,000+ symbols and open its trading page, with TradingView charts.

  5. 5

    Place your order

Choose Market or Limit, enter the amount (from 5 USDC) and confirm. The shares appear in your Bybit portfolio.

When you can trade

Times are New York time (ET). The trading page converts them to your local time.

Questions

Is Bybit Stocks available in my country?

Not in the United States, and not anywhere Bybit itself is unavailable (for example the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore and Canada). Bybit also lists the EEA countries, India, Mauritius and the UAE as restricted for Stocks, with South Africa to be confirmed. Elsewhere you need a Bybit account with Advanced Identity Verification.

Do I own real shares?

Yes. When you buy, you purchase US-listed shares that Alpaca Securities LLC (FINRA/SIPC member) holds in custody; Alpaca routes orders to venues such as NYSE and Nasdaq. They are not tokens or CFDs, so they cannot be sent on-chain.

How do dividends work?

Cash dividends are converted into USDC and credited to your Unified Trading Account after any withholding tax. Stock dividends arrive as extra shares, and splits adjust your position automatically. Shareholder voting is not available yet.

What does a trade cost?

Bybit charges no commission. A service fee of 0.1% of the order value applies, at least 0.35 USDC per order, and the spread is built into the price.

How much do I need to start?

5 USDC. Eligible stocks can be bought in fractions, so the share price does not matter. A single order can be up to 1,000,000 USDC.

Can I trade at night or on weekends?

At night, yes: supported stocks trade overnight from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM ET, next to pre-market and post-market. Weekends no: trading pauses from Friday 8:00 PM to Sunday 8:00 PM ET.
