USDS is a US dollar stablecoin issued by Sky, the protocol formerly known as MakerDAO, and introduced in 2024 as an upgraded version of DAI; DAI and USDS can be converted one-to-one. It is generated against collateral held in the protocol, including crypto assets and real-world assets, and it circulates on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and Solana.
