What is Flare?
FLR is the native token of Flare, an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain whose token was distributed from January 2023, partly through an airdrop to XRP holders. Flare builds data tools into the protocol itself, such as the Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO) for price feeds and the Flare Data Connector. FLR is used for fees, staking, delegation to data providers and governance.
