What is Jupiter?

Jupiter (JUP) is the token of Jupiter, a decentralized exchange aggregator on Solana that routes swaps across many liquidity sources to find efficient trade paths. JUP is used for governance through the Jupiter DAO, where holders vote on proposals and new launches. It was distributed in a large community airdrop in January 2024.
