The short answer
At regular-user rates, OKX is the cheapest of the three on spot and ties Binance on futures, while Bitget charges the most for futures taker orders. Once the fee rebate from a partner referral is counted, the order flips: Bitget becomes the cheapest on every product (0.04% spot, 0.024% futures taker), OKX is second, and Binance, which returns the smallest share, is the most expensive. The gap matters most for active futures traders.

Published fees for a new account
These are each exchange's standard rates for a regular user with no VIP tier and no token discount, read from the official fee pages on 10 October 2026.

| Exchange | Spot maker | Spot taker | Futures maker (USDT-M) | Futures taker (USDT-M) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OKX | 0.08% | 0.10% | 0.02% | 0.05% |
| Bitget | 0.10% | 0.10% | 0.02% | 0.06% |
| Binance | 0.10% | 0.10% | 0.02% | 0.05% |
On list price alone, OKX's 0.08% spot maker rate is the only spot difference, and Bitget's 0.06% futures taker rate is the highest futures cost.
What changes with a fee rebate
All three exchanges run partner programmes in which part of the trading fee a referred user pays is returned to that user's account. The share depends on the partner. Through NexuAlpha's partner codes the shares are:

| Exchange | Referral code | Share of fees returned | Settled by the exchange |
|---|---|---|---|
| OKX | nexu888 | up to 40% | every hour |
| Bitget | nexu888 | up to 60% | every day |
| Binance | 11350287 | up to 25% | every hour |
Applying those shares to the published rates gives the effective cost:

| OKX | 0.048% | 0.060% | 0.012% | 0.030% |

Three monthly examples
Numbers are fees for one month, before and after the rebate.
A casual spot trader: 20,000 USD of spot taker volume. Every exchange charges 20 USD at list price. After rebates: Bitget 8 USD, OKX 12 USD, Binance 15 USD.
An active futures trader: 200,000 USD of futures taker volume. List price: OKX 100 USD, Binance 100 USD, Bitget 120 USD. After rebates: Bitget 48 USD, OKX 60 USD, Binance 75 USD. The cheapest list price is not the cheapest account.
A limit-order futures trader: 200,000 USD of futures maker volume. List price is 40 USD everywhere. After rebates: Bitget 16 USD, OKX 24 USD, Binance 30 USD.
Over a year, the futures taker example adds up to 576 USD on Bitget, 720 USD on OKX and 900 USD on Binance for the same trading.
The second lever: maker orders instead of taker orders
A rebate cuts every fee by the same share, but the order type decides which fee you pay in the first place. A market order takes liquidity and pays the taker rate; a limit order that rests on the book adds liquidity and pays the maker rate. On futures the gap is large on all three exchanges: after rebates, Bitget charges 0.008% for maker orders against 0.024% for taker orders, OKX 0.012% against 0.030%, and Binance 0.015% against 0.0375%. In the 200,000 USD futures example, moving from market orders to resting limit orders cuts the monthly bill on Bitget from 48 USD to 16 USD, on OKX from 60 USD to 24 USD, and on Binance from 75 USD to 30 USD.
The trade-off is execution. A limit order may not fill, or may fill only after the price has moved away from you, so it suits entries and exits you can plan, not stop-outs you need immediately. Many exchanges offer a post-only option that cancels the order instead of letting it execute as a taker.
How to check that the rebate is actually paid
A rebate that never arrives is worth nothing, so verify it after your first trades. Each exchange records rebate credits in the account's transaction or asset history. With hourly settlement on OKX and Binance, credits should appear within a few hours of trading; on Bitget, after the next daily settlement. If nothing appears after a full settlement window, open the exchange's referral page and confirm that the code is attached to your account. A missing code at registration is the most common reason a rebate is not paid.
What the fee table does not show
Fees are one cost among several. Before choosing on fees alone, weigh these:
- Funding rates. Perpetual futures charge or pay funding every few hours. On a position held for days, funding can exceed trading fees, and rebates do not apply to it. NexuAlpha's funding board shows live rates across exchanges.
- Spread and liquidity. A lower fee on a thin order book can cost more in slippage than a higher fee on a deep one, especially for large market orders and smaller tokens.
- VIP tiers and token discounts. All three lower fees for high-volume accounts and offer discounts for paying fees in their own tokens. Our table uses the entry tier with no token discount, because that is what a new account pays.
- Settlement timing. Hourly settlement (OKX, Binance) returns the rebate faster than daily settlement (Bitget). The total is the same; the cash flow is not.
- Availability. Products and even account opening differ by country. A cheap venue you cannot legally use is not an option.
Which one fits which trader
- Mostly futures, mostly market orders: Bitget, with the code entered at sign-up, has the lowest effective cost.
- Mostly spot with limit orders, or you want hourly payouts: OKX is close behind Bitget and settles every hour.
- You need Binance's markets or liquidity for a specific pair: the 25% rebate still lowers the cost, but it is the smallest of the three.
A rebate only applies if the referral code is attached to your account, normally by entering it when you register; an existing account without a code may not be able to add one. Check each exchange's referral page before you rely on it.
Method and limits
Fee rates come from the exchanges' official fee pages, read on 10 October 2026; rebate shares come from NexuAlpha's partner terms as published on the site. Effective rates are simple arithmetic: list rate multiplied by one minus the rebate share. Exchanges change fees and partner terms without notice, so treat these as a dated snapshot. Partner links may earn NexuAlpha a commission paid by the exchange, at no extra cost to you. This comparison is not investment advice.
