Why isn't the price on screen my fill price?
Головне
The last price is the most recent trade, not an offer for any size.
Larger orders can fill across several levels of the order book.
Slippage and the trading fee are separate costs: check the bill.

Total 100.10, average 50,050. This is the trade amount before the teaching fee. If a 0.1% fee in USDT is also charged: fee 0.1001, total 100.2001 (don't round before calculating).

It was this price a second ago. Why is my bill different?

The last price on screen is a record of the most recent trade. It's not an offer for unlimited size. How much people want to buy and sell right now is in the order book.

Say you buy 0.002 bitcoin. The first level only has half. The other half fills at a higher price. Together, the average is 50,050, not 50,000.
- Nexubo
Slippage is the gap between the price you expected and the price you got. It isn't always against you. The trading fee is a separate cost. Don't lump them together under a 'free' slogan.

Bigger orders, thinner depth or fast markets make it more likely the result drifts from what you expected. Check size and depth before you order, and the real average price after.

No.

You only know your fill when you see the bill. Don't just watch the biggest number.

Fees are one cost you can actually lower. Compare fees on NexuAlpha, and register through an official partner link with our code to get part of your trading fees back. Lower cost, same risk.

You placed a buy order and nothing happens. Is it broken? Next: market, limit and cancel.
