What is Jito?
JTO is the governance token of Jito, a Solana project known for JitoSOL, a liquid staking token, and for the Jito validator client, which handles MEV, the extra value that comes from ordering transactions. JTO holders vote in the Jito DAO on fee settings, treasury use and protocol changes. The token was distributed through an airdrop in December 2023.
