TrueUSD (TUSD) is a US dollar stablecoin that first launched in 2018 and is intended to be redeemable 1:1 for dollars held in reserve. It was originally created by the TrustToken team and is now issued by Techteryx, with reserve reports published through third-party attestations. TUSD is used for payments, trading pairs and DeFi on Ethereum, TRON, BNB Smart Chain and other networks.
