What you need before you start

• An email address or mobile number you can receive codes on. Bitget asks you to pick one at sign-up; you can link the other later.

Step-by-step registration (website)

Bitget's own help article describes the website flow in five steps. Here they are with the checks that matter.

1. Open the real sign-up page. Go to Bitget's site and click Sign Up in the top-right corner, or use NexuAlpha's partner link. Before typing anything, look at the address bar. Bitget runs an Official Verification Tool where you can paste any web address, email sender or social account to confirm whether it belongs to Bitget; use it if a link reached you through a message, an ad or a group chat.

2. Choose email or mobile and add the referral code. Enter your email, or your mobile number without the country code. The form has an optional referral code field: type nexu888 there if it is not already filled. Then accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy and click Next. Bitget also offers sign-up with Google, Telegram or a wallet; if you use one of these, check that the referral code is present before you finish.

3. Set a strong password. Bitget requires 8 to 32 characters with at least one number, one uppercase letter and one special character. Solve the captcha that follows.

4. Verify your email or phone. Bitget sends a 6-digit code. Enter it and click Sign Up. If it does not arrive, check spam, confirm the address or number, and request it again.

5. Turn on two-factor authentication. Log in, open your profile menu, go to Security and enable 2FA. Bitget marks this step as recommended; treat it as required before you deposit anything.

The mobile app follows the same order: sign-up method, referral code, password, verification code.

Two security settings worth adding on day one

Anti-phishing code. Under Security > Advanced Security, choose Anti-Phishing Code > Configure and set a word only you know. From then on, genuine Bitget emails show that word. An email that claims to be from Bitget but lacks it is not from Bitget.

Official channel check. Scammers copy exchange support accounts, especially in Telegram groups. Bitget's verification tool tells you whether a website, email or social handle is official and lets you report it if it is not. Never share your password or 2FA code with anyone, including people who say they are support.

What the fees are and what the rebate changes

Bitget's published VIP 0 rates, read on 10 October 2026:

A worked example: 10,000 USD of futures taker volume costs 6 USD in fees at 0.06%. With up to 60% returned, the net cost is 2.40 USD. Over a month of active trading, that difference grows with your volume: 100,000 USD of futures taker volume costs 60 USD in fees, of which up to 36 USD comes back.

The rebate is settled by Bitget itself, daily, under the exchange's partner programme; NexuAlpha never holds your funds. Funding rates on perpetual futures are a separate cost that the rebate does not touch.

Does the code have to be entered at sign-up?

Yes, as far as Bitget's published guide shows. The referral field appears during registration, and the guide does not describe a way to add one afterwards. If you already have a Bitget account without a referral, a code cannot be attached to it retroactively through any step we could find; check your account's referral page before assuming otherwise.

Identity verification and regional limits

Bitget's registration FAQ is explicit that signing up needs no documents. Identity verification comes next: Bitget prompts for it in the app and on the website after you register. Common sign-up problems

• No verification code. Check spam and junk folders, confirm you entered the number without the country code, then resend.
• Password rejected. It must contain a number, an uppercase letter and a special character, and be 8 to 32 characters long.
• Referral field already filled with another code. You followed someone else's link. Go back to the sign-up page through the link you intended to use, or clear the field and type the code you want before submitting.

Does registering cost anything? No. Bitget states that creating an account is free and needs no documents.
