What the campaign actually pays

Bybit published the campaign on 12 October 2026, the same day it announced direct access to US stocks and ETFs through the platform. The announcement breaks the 150,000 USDC headline into three tracks. The amounts below are Bybit's own figures.

The prize pool formula is spelled out in the terms: your boosted eligible volume divided by the total boosted eligible volume of all qualified participants, multiplied by the unlocked prize pool. Two multipliers can lift your boosted volume. Eligible trades made during the first five days of the event receive a 1.4x multiplier, and qualifying holdings can add a further boost of up to 1.5x. Bybit states plainly that a multiplier does not guarantee a specific prize pool reward: your share depends on how much everyone else trades.

By our arithmetic, 1,000 first-trade rewards account for 5,000 USDC of the headline and the prize pool for 100,000 USDC, which leaves the Mystery Boxes to make up the remaining 45,000 USDC; Bybit does not publish the box budget separately, so treat that split as our reading of the numbers rather than a Bybit figure.

Who is eligible

The terms list five conditions that decide whether a trade counts:

• Register first. You must press Register Now on the event page before trading; trades made before registration do not count toward rewards.
• Verification. Only accounts that have completed Individual Identity Verification Level 1 or Business Verification are eligible.
• USDC only. Only stock trading volume denominated in USDC counts. Bybit Stocks settles in USDC, so this mostly means you need USDC in the account rather than USDT.
• Region. Users from restricted countries and regions are excluded. The announcement singles out the European Economic Area: residents of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway may not participate.
• One real account. Wash trading, multi-account operations, volume manipulation, duplicate identities, identity-verification abuse and sub-account abuse all result in disqualification and forfeiture of every reward.

Rewards are limited and go out first come, first served. Winners receive them in the Rewards Hub within 10 working days after the event ends, so expect the pool payout in the second week of November. Bybit also notes that reward denominations can vary by session and reserves the right to change the terms without notice.

What you are trading

Bybit Stocks is spot ownership of US stocks and ETFs bought with USDC, not a perpetual and not a tokenized wrapper. The announcement's own footer explains the plumbing: the service is provided by Infra Capital Limited as introducing broker, regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under licence GB23202169, while US securities clearing, settlement and custody are handled by Alpaca Securities LLC, a FINRA and SIPC member doing business as Alpaca Clearing. Some corporate actions are restricted for now. Because the product is real shares rather than a derivative, the campaign's holding requirements are the part that needs planning. The first-trade reward requires you to hold the position for 24 hours, and the prize pool requires at least 1,000 USDC of stock still held on 31 October. If you day-trade everything flat, you qualify for Mystery Boxes but not for the pool.

A plan that fits the rules

Here is how to extract the most from the campaign without trading more than you otherwise would.

1. Register today, trade within the boost window. The 1.4x multiplier applies to trades in the first five days of the event, which by our count runs through 16 October. Volume you were going to trade anyway is worth 40% more toward the pool if it happens before then. 2. Make the first trade count twice. A single purchase of 500 USDC or more in one stock, held for 24 hours, collects the 5 USDC first-trade reward and starts your cumulative volume for the pool at the same time. Do this while you are still inside the boost window. 3. Keep 1,000 USDC of stock through 31 October. The pool condition is a snapshot on the last day. Pick the position you intend to hold anyway and leave at least 1,000 USDC of it untouched until the event closes. 4. Treat the Mystery Box as a bonus, not a target. Reaching 2,000 USDC of daily volume to win a box worth up to 50 USDC only makes sense on days you would have traded that much regardless. 5. Watch the cap. With 5,000 USDC as the maximum pool reward per person and the share formula based on everyone's boosted volume, no amount of extra trading buys you more than that ceiling.
