Deposit and withdraw crypto by country: cards, local banks and P2P
The short answer
Use your country's local bank rail where an exchange supports it in both directions: PIX in Brazil, SEPA in the EU, FPS in the UK, FAST and PayNow in Singapore, SPEI in Mexico. Where no bank rail exists, buy with a Visa or Mastercard card or trade USDT for local currency on P2P. Mainland China
银发〔2026〕42号, published 2026-02-06 by the People's Bank of China and other regulators, prohibits fiat-to-crypto exchange business in mainland China and bars banks and payment institutions from settling it. Bybit, Gate, MEXC, HTX list mainland China as a region they do not serve. P2P, where users trade USDT for local currency with each other, is how exchanges usually connect a currency without a bank rail; the notice also covers the payment settlement behind such trades.
