Yes, through Backpack Securities. Backpack says eligible users with a verified Backpack account can buy US-listed stocks and ETFs, held as security entitlements under New York UCC Article 8, and that selected stocks can be tokenized 1:1 on Solana and redeemed 1:1 back into the underlying share. The tokenized form is a separate instrument (a claim on an SPV holding the underlying assets) and trades 24/7 on Solana. Backpack Securities is not available in the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Japan or through Backpack EU.

Does Backpack Exchange require KYC?

Yes. Backpack's help center lists standard KYC as full name, date of birth and address, source of income and occupation, a valid ID document and a liveness check; some countries can verify through local government digital ID, and some (for example Australia and the UAE) may need proof of address. Backpack says it does not serve residents of North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria and the Crimea, Sevastopol, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and asks residents of Canada, Japan and New Zealand to “stay tuned”.
