Test transfer
Definition
A limited transfer used to check a chosen deposit route before sending more.
How test transfer works
Check the receiving platform’s minimum deposit, network support and memo requirements before attempting a test. A transfer too small for the platform’s rules may not be credited. Successful receipt provides evidence about that particular route at that time; later transfers still require fresh review of destination details and service conditions.
Example
A user checks deposit conditions, sends a limited transfer and waits for credited funds before deciding whether to continue.
Common mistakes
- A transaction shown on an explorer does not by itself prove exchange credit.
FAQ
What proves the test arrived?
