Bitget DCA bookkeeping: keep the BGB adjustment unfilled
A hypothetical monthly Bitget spot buy of 400 quote units carries a 0.40 base trading fee at either reviewed execution role. The standard non-VIP maker and taker rate is 0.10%, with the source record checked on 2026-10-10.
The missing cell in a fee budget
Write down the base trading fee first: 400 × 0.001 = 0.40 quote-equivalent units. The 400 represents executed purchase notional; fees are additional. A mention of a payment feature cannot supply a numeric saving.
That distinction matters when choosing a fee currency. The actual charge may be denominated in another asset, while this example is expressed in quote units. Do not infer the token quantity from the base subtotal without a conversion basis and the applicable discount terms.
A month-end worksheet
Keep fields for executed quote amount, actual fee currency, fee quantity, conversion basis and account fee schedule. Attach the underlying fills rather than relying only on the amount you intended to invest. Compare their total charge with the base calculation only after checking the account conditions.
Maker and taker have no fee-rate gap in this reviewed spot record. Your order’s actual role still matters for an audit, even though switching the role in this example leaves the arithmetic unchanged. Unfilled amounts do not belong in the executed notional.
Deposit charges, spread and withdrawals have not been priced here, so the result is only a trading-fee subtotal.
