Bitget: Diagnose a bot through its own account records

The bot is busy; is it useful?

A strategy can trade frequently while its results remain hard to interpret. A Bitget sub-account plan starts with attribution: keep the bot’s activity and capital movements identifiable so manual trades do not blur the review.

Build an inspection trail

Keep a record of the strategy purpose, allocated funds and API key permissions. Dedicated API keys are a common use for a sub-account. Grant only the access the bot needs, without withdrawal authority, and keep the main account’s authentication protected.

Read transfers as financing

An internal move changes the allocation available to the bot. Record its direction and check the destination balance before restarting automation. Investigate unexplained changes instead of counting every balance increase as a successful trade.

Separate the unresolved decisions

Fee-volume aggregation may allow linked accounts to contribute to a parent tier on some exchanges.
