OKX: decide where the funds need to end up
Start with the job the funds must do: pay for a spot purchase, remain available for payments, or support a derivatives position. That decision helps you identify an account mismatch before trying to move anything on OKX.
A short decision note
Write down the asset you hold, the account showing it, and the account the intended activity uses. Compare those details with the deposit history. An incoming credit in a different account can explain why the intended activity still shows no usable balance.
The OKX research hub provides the venue context for that check.
Does the destination belong to you on this platform?
For movement between your own platform accounts, look for the applicable internal-transfer route. A blockchain withdrawal is a separate operation involving an external address and network selection. Needing an address is a reason to pause and check whether you have chosen the intended route.
The collateral question comes before confirmation
Maintenance margin supports an open leveraged position. Removing assets that contribute to that support can leave less room for losses. Check the current account mode and risk display rather than inferring transfer safety from a headline asset total.
Read back the direction and asset before proceeding. Afterward, reconcile the transfer history with the receiving balance; repeated attempts can make troubleshooting harder. Confusing an internal record identifier with an on-chain transaction hash also sends the investigation down the wrong path.
