Is Binance Pool Shutting Down? Yes, on 10 November 2026: What Miners and Pool Savings Users Must Do

5 min

The short answer

Yes. Binance announced on 13 October 2026 that it will discontinue Binance Pool and every related service at 15:00 SGT (07:00 UTC) on 10 November 2026, including Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and the Transaction Accelerator. Miners must point their machines at another pool before that time, Pool Savings holders should redeem, and anyone owed a final payout should make sure their Binance account can receive it.

What exactly is closing

Binance's notice lists the services in one sentence, and the list is wider than the mining pool itself:

  • Binance Pool, the Bitcoin and multi-coin mining pool that miners connect to through Stratum URLs.
  • Pool Savings, the yield product attached to the pool.
  • Cloud Mining, where users bought hashrate instead of running hardware.
  • Transaction Accelerator, Binance Pool's tool for speeding up slow Bitcoin transactions.
  • Supporting features: Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications and the mining pool API.

Binance gave no reason beyond "our ongoing review of products and services". The pool launched in April 2020, according to Cointelegraph's report on the closure, so the service ends after roughly six and a half years.

What to do, by type of user

If you mine on Binance Pool

Reconfigure your miners to a different pool before 15:00 SGT on 10 November. After that moment, hashrate pointed at Binance's endpoints earns nothing, so a late switch is lost revenue, not a delayed payment. Switching a few days early, rather than on the final afternoon, leaves time to confirm that the new pool is crediting your shares.

Download your earnings reports and payout history while you are at it. The pages stay readable only until 24 November, and Binance asks users to save any records they need.

If you hold Pool Savings

Binance asks holders to review active positions and unsubscribe or redeem before the service ends. No new yield accrues after the cutoff, so there is nothing to gain by waiting.

If you bought Cloud Mining

Cloud Mining stops at the same moment. Any eligible balance or refund will be settled after the cutoff under the product terms; the practical step is to make sure the account that will receive it is fully verified and not restricted.

If you used the Transaction Accelerator

It closes on 10 November together with the pool, and the notice names no replacement. If you relied on it for urgent transfers, set an adequate network fee in your sending wallet from now on rather than counting on a rescue later.

How big Binance Pool actually is

On Bitcoin, Binance Pool has become a small player. Mempool.space's pool statistics, read on 13 October 2026, show it found 48 of the last 4,416 blocks over one month (1.09%) and 9 of 1,058 blocks over the past week (0.85%), ranking 11th or 12th. Over its whole life it is credited with 22,188 blocks and 137,059 BTC in rewards.

AntPool91220.65%
F2Pool71416.17%
ViaBTC4099.26%
SpiderPool3187.20%
Binance Pool481.09%

So the closure does not threaten Bitcoin's security or block times: roughly one block in a hundred moves to other pools. The people affected are the individual miners and savers who relied on a pool built into their exchange account, where payouts landed next to their trading balance.

Does this change anything for Binance traders?

No. The notice covers the pool and its satellite products only. Spot, futures, Earn products outside Pool Savings, and deposits and withdrawals are not mentioned, and Binance says the pool itself runs normally until the cutoff. Our Binance exchange profile tracks the products that remain and their current fees.

How to act on this

Once your hashrate is pointed elsewhere, decide where the payouts should land. Many pools pay to any Bitcoin address, so you can keep sending them to your Binance deposit address and trade there as before. If you prefer to open a separate trading account for those coins, OKX code nexu888 returns 40% of trading fees, which brings the regular 0.100% spot taker fee to 0.060% net by our arithmetic; the Binance profile and the Binance vs OKX comparison show both venues side by side.
