Bitget ending service for some users: how to check your account notice
The short answer
Bitget said on October 17 that it will discontinue services for certain users in a one-off exercise. Affected customers should receive account-specific notices containing next steps, deadlines and withdrawal arrangements. Check your own notice inside the official account and resolve pending orders or withdrawal problems with support; the public statement does not provide one withdrawal deadline for everybody.

What the announcement actually changes
The official statement says the platform continues operating. It distinguishes customers receiving direct notifications from customers who have not received an official notice, who can continue using their accounts subject to the platform terms. Notifications may arrive by email, an in-app message or a push notification. Bitget also says support can assist with withdrawals, pending orders and account questions during the process.
Those are the confirmed facts about this particular exercise. The public post does not specify a common closure date, identify every affected customer or explain the selection criteria. A deadline copied from another person's screenshot therefore does not establish your deadline. Equally, an account that still opens does not establish that no restriction will apply later. The relevant evidence is the instruction attached to that account.
For background on the platform, see the Bitget venue profile. This article explains how to turn the new notice into a practical account checklist. It does not establish that a particular reader has been selected or that a withdrawal has succeeded.
Read the notice as a set of separate instructions
Open the official app or website through your usual route and inspect the account messages. Our editorial recommendation is to record the wording before moving assets. A notification preview may omit conditions that appear in the full message. If an email and the signed-in message differ, ask official support to reconcile them instead of choosing the more convenient deadline.
Article table: scroll horizontally, or focus the table area and use the arrow keys.
| Item to record | Question the notice should answer | What to do if it is missing |
|---|---|---|
| Account scope | Does the message identify this account as affected? | Ask support to confirm the account status. |
| Service scope | Which products or actions are restricted? | Ask separately about trading, open positions and withdrawal access. |
| Timing | What is the deadline and its time zone? | Request an explicit date and time rather than infer it. |
| Asset handling | What arrangements apply to assets remaining in the account? | Request instructions for the actual asset or product. |
| Support route | Where should unresolved orders or transfers be raised? | Use the support entry reached from the official account. |
This table is an editorial workflow, not an additional Bitget timetable. In particular, a service cutoff, a position-management deadline and a withdrawal deadline need not mean the same thing. Separate them if the message does. If it gives only one deadline, do not invent an extra grace period.
Reconcile balances before pressing Withdraw
Bitget's regular withdrawal troubleshooting guide distinguishes the total value displayed in an account from available funds in the Spot Account. It says funds committed to open orders, P2P transactions, copy trades or Earn products can remain unavailable until released. Trading bonuses can also be non-withdrawable. A positive balance is therefore not enough to establish how much can leave immediately.

Open →As an editorial working method, make an asset-by-asset record with the displayed balance, available amount, product holding it and any unresolved action. Keep open orders separate from positions: canceling an order is not evidence that an existing position has closed. Ask support how the account-specific service notice interacts with anything still outstanding, particularly if an expected control is unavailable.
Do not assume the general help page authorizes an operation after your account's deadline. It describes normal processing, while the new notice describes an individual service change. If they seem inconsistent, preserve both instructions and ask which applies. Repeatedly resubmitting the same operation without understanding its status can make the reconciliation harder.
Prepare the receiving side and review the actual transfer
The official website withdrawal guide describes choosing the cryptocurrency, entering the destination address, selecting the matching network and specifying an amount. It says the screen displays the transaction fee and amount received. The mobile guide follows the same basic sequence and distinguishes an on-chain withdrawal from other transfer options.
Before confirming, our recommendation is to read the destination's current deposit instructions alongside Bitget's withdrawal screen. Match the asset and network on both sides, then check the entire destination address. Where the receiving service requires a memo or destination tag, copy that value as well. Bitget's troubleshooting documentation identifies missing or incorrect tags or memos as a reason an operation may fail.
Treat the fee, minimum and net amount on the current screen as a separate check from the gross balance. This article supplies no fixed fee or minimum because the official guide makes them dependent on the asset and network. If the receiving side has its own minimum or does not currently support deposits, resolve that before sending.
A small test may be useful when the account arrangements, minimum and fees permit it. That is an editorial option, not a requirement announced in this exercise. It also takes time and costs fees. Do not assume a test extends the deadline or that one successful transfer proves every other network will work. Use the actual instructions for each asset.
Submission, processing and receipt are different milestones
Bitget's website guide directs users to Assets and the deposit/withdrawal records after submission. Its mobile guide directs users through Assets, Spot and the history control to withdrawal records. The guides describe Processing, Completed and Failed statuses. Keep the order record and status visible while checking the destination rather than treating the confirmation button as proof of arrival.
For your own reconciliation, record the asset, network, requested amount, displayed fee, destination, submission time and current status. Retain an order identifier or transaction identifier when the record provides one. Then compare the sending record with the receiving account's balance and transaction history. A transaction identifier can help investigate a transfer; the identifier alone does not prove that the recipient has credited it.
If Bitget shows a failure, first inspect whether the record actually shows a completed outgoing transfer before attempting another request. If it remains processing, preserve the existing record and ask support about that request. If the sender says completed but the recipient has not credited it, bring both records to the relevant support team. These are editorial triage steps; no completed customer transfer was tested for this article.
What to ask when withdrawal is restricted
Bitget's regular help lists account verification, unavailable balance, security changes, incorrect details, limits and network maintenance as distinct possible sources of withdrawal restrictions. A restriction screen does not by itself tell you which one applies. It also does not prove that the new account-closure exercise is the cause.
Send official support a concise description of the exact action that failed, the asset and network, the displayed status, the relevant account-notice deadline and the existing order reference if one exists. Ask whether the obstacle concerns the account, that asset's network or the individual transfer. Ask how to proceed before the stated deadline if the normal workflow cannot be completed. Keep the response with the original notice so a later conversation does not lose the context.
The public statement promises support assistance, not a universal processing or recovery time. A general help-page estimate does not answer whether an exceptional account arrangement will finish on that schedule. Do not replace an unanswered account question with an assumed guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
Does every Bitget user have to leave?
The announcement refers to certain users and says customers without an official notification may continue using their accounts subject to the platform terms. It does not announce a platform-wide exit requirement. Check the message for your own account.
Is there one public withdrawal deadline?
The public post says the affected users' notifications contain relevant deadlines and withdrawal arrangements. It does not publish a common deadline. Ask support to clarify the time zone or any missing instruction in your notice.
Can I ignore an email if trading still works?
Continued access is not proof that a notice is irrelevant. Open the official account through your usual route, check its messages and ask support to confirm any discrepancy. Our recommendation is to reconcile the instructions before committing additional funds.
Where should I check next?
Start with the full account notice, current available balances and existing withdrawal records. Use the Bitget information page for platform background, then return to the official account for instructions. Public reporting cannot determine your individual restrictions, successful receipt or remaining time.
