Bybit Referral Code 48553: Register in Six Steps, KYC Levels and the 500 USDT Task Rewards

Prepare three things. First, an email address you will still control in two years. Bybit recommends registering with email, because email and Google Authenticator are both compulsory for withdrawals, and it suggests Gmail, iCloud or ProtonMail rather than a provider that might close or change. Each email address and each mobile number can be linked to only one Bybit account. Enter your details in single-byte alphanumeric characters, which means plain Latin letters and digits, not full-width characters from an input method.

Choose your country of residence honestly. Bybit says you may be redirected to a regional site or see a restricted-country notice, because the company does not serve a short list of excluded jurisdictions. Step by step

1. Open the Bybit website and click Sign Up in the top right corner. The mobile app follows the same logic.
2. Select your country of residence. If a restricted-country notice appears, stop there; do not pick another country to get around it.
3. Enter your email or phone number. With a phone number, add the country code and leave out the leading zero, so 090-1234-5678 becomes 9012345678. You can also use the Google, Apple or Telegram buttons, which borrow the email or number tied to that account.
4. Type 48553 into the referral or affiliate code field before you click Sign Up Now. This is the step you cannot repeat later.
5. Complete the recaptcha and enter the verification code sent to your email or phone.
6. Create your password. You land on your account dashboard, where Bybit asks you to start identity verification.
7. Start identity verification: open the profile icon, choose Account, and click Verify Now in the Identity Verification row.

If you signed up with an Apple Hide My Email address, Bybit sees a random relay address ending in privaterelay.appleid.com. That works, but you must keep forwarding active, because withdrawal confirmations go to it.

The three KYC levels

Bybit splits individual verification into Standard, Advanced and Pro. The table shows what each one asks for.

For most newcomers Standard is all that is needed on day one. Choose your current country of residence on the verification screen and pick it accurately, because Bybit says the choice influences the process and that changing it later can require extra verification. Photograph the document so that your full name and date of birth are clear and the file is not edited. Any file format is accepted. Then complete the face recognition on the laptop camera, or scan the QR code and do it on your phone.

If the face-scan page will not open after several attempts, Bybit's advice is to wait 30 minutes and try again, because either the document did not meet the requirements or too many submissions came in a short time. If it still fails, open a support case rather than uploading the same file again and again. In normal cases the identity assessment finishes automatically right after the document check; some users are asked to answer a short questionnaire. Anyone who does not pass the assessment cannot complete Standard verification and so cannot use products that require it.

Proof of address is only processed after Standard is done. Accepted documents are utility bills, bank statements and government-issued residence proof, and the date must fall in the last three months; older documents are rejected.

What the referral code does for a new user

Bybit's referral programme pays both sides when a new user, who signed up with a code or link, completes trading tasks. According to Bybit's referral FAQ, for people who register on or after 10 October 2026 at 12:00 UTC the tasks are:

The rewards apply to Bybit Global users only, and Bybit may offer different programmes in other jurisdictions, so look at the local page for your region. After verification: first week
