AXIS Perpetuals Go Live on OKX and Bitget: What Traders Should Check First

5 min

The short answer

Axis Robotics (AXIS) became tradable on Bitget in its AI zone on October 21, 2026, and OKX opened AXIS/USDT perpetual futures the same day at 14:00 UTC. Both venues allow up to 20x leverage, and both settle funding every four hours. A new token with leverage on day one can move fast in either direction, so check the contract rules, the funding schedule and your own position size before you trade.

Bitget describes Axis Robotics as a company building a data engine for physical AI, which means training data for robots. That is the company's own wording in the notice, not an independent assessment of the project.

What the contracts allow

The Bitget futures notice lists a tick size of 0.00001 and trading time of seven days a week, 24 hours a day. It also says Bitget may adjust parameters, including tick size, maximum leverage and maintenance margin rates, depending on market risk conditions. That means the 20x limit you see today is not guaranteed to stay the same.

OKX's notice lists a face value of 10 and states that the price is quoted through an AXIS value calculated in USDT equivalent. OKX also lists a funding-rate clamp of 1.0% and -1.0% within its funding formula. Read the product documentation on the venue you use before you size a position, because the same token can have different contract details on different exchanges.

Why a day-one listing needs more care

New perpetual contracts often have thin order books in the first days. A small order can move the price more than it would in a token that has traded for months. Funding every four hours also means that a crowded side of the market can pay a noticeable cost over a day, even if the price does not move much.

Leverage makes the risk larger. At 20x, a move of about 5% against your position is enough to use up your whole margin, before fees and before any funding payments. Our rule of thumb for readers is simple: if you cannot explain what your liquidation price is, you are not ready to open a leveraged position on a new contract.

Bitget's notice also says that its parameters can change. OKX's listing says regional availability depends on the app. In other words, you should not assume that the product you see in a guide is available in your country or account until the app shows it to you.

A checklist before you trade

  1. Confirm the exact pair. AXISUSDT on Bitget and AXIS/USDT perpetual on OKX are different products with different settings.
  2. Read the leverage limit on the contract page, not only in a news article.
  3. Check the funding rate and the next settlement time before you open a position.
  4. Calculate your liquidation price with the fees and funding you expect to pay.
  5. Use a stop-loss order if the venue offers one, and check how it works for thin markets.
  6. Decide the maximum amount you will lose on this trade and keep the position below it.
  7. Do not add to a position just because the price moved in your favour in the first hour.

Withdrawals are a separate question. Bitget's notice says AXIS withdrawals open on October 22 at 14:00 UTC, so anyone who bought spot on day one will not be able to move the tokens off the exchange until then.

Where we could not verify

We did not verify the team, token supply or tokenomics of Axis Robotics for this article. Those details are outside the exchange notices we read. We also did not confirm AXIS trading volumes or price moves from an independent data source, so this article makes no claim about where the price is going. If you need that information, check the token's official website and on-chain or market data from a source you trust before you rely on it.

Frequently asked questions

Is AXIS a spot listing or a futures listing? Both. Bitget listed AXIS in its AI zone for spot trading and launched AXISUSDT futures. OKX listed AXIS/USDT perpetual futures.

What is the maximum leverage? Bitget's futures notice says 20x. OKX's notice shows a range from 0.01x to 20x.

How often is funding paid? Both notices say every four hours.

When can I withdraw AXIS on Bitget? Bitget's notice says withdrawals open on October 22, 2026 at 14:00 UTC.

Does a listing mean the token is safe? No. A listing means the exchange has opened trading. It does not check the project's future prospects, and the notices themselves warn that parameters can change.
