Brent BZ perpetuals fall 3.37% on OKX to 102.41 USDT
The short answer
OKX's BZ-USDT-SWAP traded at 102.41 USDT at 18:46 SGT on 4 November, down a calculated 3.37% from its 24-hour opening reference of 105.98. Bitget's BZUSDT perpetual stood at 102.39 USDT at the same minute. For a reader holding oil exposure in a crypto account, the immediate task is to check the contract symbol, the position's unit and any orders left behind during the decline.
These are quotations for named perpetual contracts. Earlier, at 18:11 SGT, Odaily reported a Gate-sourced XBRUSD quote of $105.94 per barrel, down 3.1% over its reported 24 hours. Keep that instrument and timestamp attached to the earlier number; it does not make the later BZ contract quote a cash-oil benchmark.

The oil headline and the contract on your screen
Odaily's alert supplies the news lead: a Brent-labelled oil instrument had fallen below $106. The direct exchange observations add a later view of two BZ perpetual markets. They establish a decline in those markets, but do not identify its cause. Neither the alert nor the price responses provides evidence that a particular political announcement, inventory release or liquidation wave caused this move.
That distinction matters if you arrived through a forwarded oil headline. A reader searching for Brent may be looking at a dollar-per-barrel report, while their trading application shows a USDT-settled perpetual. Before comparing percentages, write down the exact symbol shown beside the position. BZ-USDT-SWAP and BZUSDT are the instruments inspected here. A CL position needs its own contract information and quotation.
For reader navigation, our Bitget exchange page and OKX exchange page provide the venue context. This article's price comparison comes from the official public ticker responses captured at 18:46 SGT. The contract responses separately identify the products; a headline alone cannot do that work.
What the two direct snapshots show
The exchange responses were fetched within the same minute. Their last prices differed by 0.02 USDT. OKX reported a 24-hour high of 106.80 and low of 100.96. Bitget reported a high of 106.78 and low of 100.93. These are each venue's own rolling observations, rather than a consolidated Brent price series.

The calculations use the same operation for each venue. For OKX, (102.41 ÷ 105.98 − 1) × 100 gives approximately −3.37%. For Bitget, (102.39 ÷ 105.98 − 1) × 100 gives approximately −3.39%. Bitget also returned its own change24h field of −0.03387, equivalent to approximately −3.387%; the rounded calculation agrees with that direction and scale.
The range within the OKX snapshot was 5.84 USDT: 106.80 minus 100.96. Bitget's range was 5.85 USDT: 106.78 minus 100.93. A range describes the distance between reported extremes. It does not tell us the path taken between them, or establish that a reader could have bought at one extreme and sold at the other.

OKX's official instrument response identifies BZ-USDT-SWAP as a live linear swap settled in USDT. It lists a contract value of 0.01 BZ and a contract multiplier of 1. That gives a concrete way to read the quantity field: 100 contracts represent 100 × 0.01 = 1 BZ of contract exposure.
At the observed 102.41 quotation, that hypothetical 100-contract position has a quoted notional of 1 × 102.41 = 102.41 USDT. A hypothetical 1,000-contract position represents 10 BZ and a quoted notional of 1,024.10 USDT. These are examples based on the instrument response, not statements about the amount of collateral a particular account must post.
The difference between the opening reference and last price was 3.57 USDT per BZ: 105.98 minus 102.41. For the hypothetical 100-contract exposure above, applying that difference gives 3.57 USDT before account-specific costs. For 1,000 contracts, the corresponding price difference is 35.70 USDT. The sign depends on position direction. The opening reference is a market statistic, so it becomes an entry price in this example only by explicit assumption.
Read your own entry from the position record before using this arithmetic. A purchase made after the market had already declined would have a different comparison. A partially closed position requires its remaining quantity. An order that never filled creates a different task from an open position. The market's 24-hour percentage cannot supply those missing account records.
Bitget's contract response identifies BZUSDT as a perpetual with BZ as the base coin and USDT as the quote coin. It also lists USDT among supported margin coins. Check the quantity unit on its own order ticket; do not carry OKX's contracts-to-BZ conversion across to another interface simply because both symbols contain BZ.
Review resting orders against the new quotation
An old limit order placed near the earlier $106 headline deserves a fresh reading against a market quoted around 102.4 on the two captured perpetuals. Review it in this order:
- Open the existing position. Confirm the venue, exact BZ symbol, direction and remaining size. Compare the actual entry price with the latest quotation for that same instrument.
- Open its outstanding orders. Read each order's current status and establish whether it is an entry instruction or an exit instruction.
- Compare each order's quantity with the remaining position. If you have already reduced exposure, use the current size. For a trigger order, read which price the condition uses.
- Save the current position and order records before changing an instruction whose original purpose you can no longer reconstruct.
On Bitget first, then OKX, use the actual BZ market you hold to carry out those checks. The public instrument listings confirm the named products in this snapshot; they do not determine what an individual account is permitted to trade. Readers reviewing venue details can return to the Bitget profile or the OKX profile before comparing another product.
A report that oil fell 3.1% is insufficient to decide whether your position gained or lost that percentage. You need its entry, direction, quantity and charges. Even the later 3.37% figure describes OKX's rolling opening reference. It should stay attached to the ticker calculation, rather than being copied into a personal return estimate.
Last price and mark price are separate fields
Bitget's captured response reported a last price and mark price of 102.39, alongside an index price of approximately 102.4329. The equality of last and mark in that response is an observation at one timestamp. It does not justify treating the labels as interchangeable in future snapshots.
For a position review, read the price label beside each account figure. If an order condition refers to a price other than the last traded price, compare that condition with its named reference. The article's market table records last prices. It does not reconstruct the account's liquidation calculation or provide a liquidation threshold for an unknown position.
The captured Bitget response also returned a fundingRate value of zero. That is the value in this response, not a forecast for subsequent intervals. The contract metadata lists a fundInterval of 4. Before carrying exposure through a displayed settlement, inspect the current funding information for that contract and the position's own settlement record.
For a separate view of crypto-market positioning, readers can open our funding board and liquidation page. Those pages answer different questions from the BZ ticker. A price decline alone does not establish the amount of forced selling in oil or prove that a crypto liquidation caused it.
Comparing the two quotations
Subtracting Bitget's last price from OKX's gives 0.02 USDT. That establishes the difference between two captured responses. It does not establish an executable arbitrage return: that would require matching quantities, account charges and execution records. Save the symbol and observation time beside each price before comparing another screen.
What the available evidence leaves open
The difference between Odaily's earlier XBRUSD quote of 105.94 and the later BZ perpetual readings around 102.4 cannot be treated as a measured 35-minute fall in a single market. The symbols, venues and observation times differ. To establish that sequence, we would need comparable observations of the same instrument at both times.
The sources also do not establish a common reason for every quoted oil product's decline. The defensible conclusion is narrower: Odaily reported a falling Gate-sourced XBRUSD instrument, and later official BZ perpetual responses showed their own negative rolling returns. Any claim about a new supply agreement or a particular seller would need its own evidence.
Quick answers
Did Brent fall 3.37% everywhere?
The 3.37% figure is calculated for OKX BZ-USDT-SWAP from its last price of 102.41 and opening reference of 105.98 at 18:46 SGT. Bitget's corresponding calculation was about 3.39%. Odaily's earlier 3.1% figure concerned its Gate-sourced XBRUSD observation.
Does 100 OKX contracts mean 100 BZ?
The inspected instrument response lists 0.01 BZ per contract and a multiplier of 1. In that specification, 100 contracts represent 1 BZ. Read the current specification and your actual quantity before applying the example.
What should an existing holder check first?
Confirm the exact BZ symbol and remaining quantity, then read the current status of orders placed around the earlier price report. Use the instrument's own quotation and the position's actual entry when calculating exposure.
