Is Bitget available in USA? What its country restrictions mean
The short answer No. Bitget's Terms of Service list the United States among its Prohibited Countries, including specified U.S. territories and minor outlying islands. Its eligibility section also requires users not to be Restricted Persons and not to access services where those services are prohibited or restricted. For a reader in the United States, the useful first step is to stop before sending a deposit and resolve account eligibility with the platform.
The answer comes from the country definition and eligibility clauses opened for this report on November 5, 2026, SGT. A trading-fee table, an app download or a completed identity check does not replace those clauses. Bitget's Terms of Service, under Definitions and Eligibility, are the controlling source for this answer. Read the terms.

Where the United States appears in the terms The prohibited-country definition names the United States explicitly. It also names Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. The text separately lists U.S. minor outlying islands. That wording makes a country-only reading of the restriction incomplete: a reader in one of the listed territories should check the full definition rather than assume the rule applies only to the mainland states.
The same definitions describe a Restricted Person as including a person or entity that resides, is established or has operations in a Prohibited Country, alongside other specified categories. Eligibility clause 2.8 requires a user not to be a Restricted Person. Read those two pieces together when deciding whether the platform is available for your circumstances.
Other eligibility clauses address access from jurisdictions where services are not permitted, restricted or illegal, and people prohibited or ineligible under the terms or applicable requirements. The resulting reader decision is straightforward: do the location and eligibility check before moving money. Opening a public webpage cannot answer those account-specific questions.
The terms are published by Bitget itself. This article uses their platform-access rules to answer the search query; it makes no claim that a fee schedule or verification FAQ grants a U.S. licence. No separate U.S. exchange service was established by the documents opened for this report.
The same eligibility section, in clauses 2.2, 2.4 and 2.5, also requires an individual to be at least 18 years old, not to have been previously suspended or removed from the services, and not to currently hold an existing account. These conditions apply alongside the country rules. Meeting the age condition does not resolve the residence or Restricted Person question, and a second account is not a workaround for either.
Identity verification is a separate requirement Bitget's individual-verification FAQ says identity verification has been required for core services, including crypto deposits and trading, since January 1, 2024. It describes verification as part of the platform's customer checks. The FAQ does not state that completing this process overrides the prohibited-country definition. That distinction matters when someone answers the availability question with a screenshot of an approved account. An account status screenshot tells you what appeared on one account at one time. The source needed for a claim about the United States is the country policy. For your own decision, compare the eligibility terms with your actual residence and any other circumstances the platform asks you to supply.
The FAQ says a person can verify only one account. It also says verification is completed on the main account, with sub-accounts inheriting the main account's permissions. A sub-account therefore has no documented role as a separate route around a country restriction. Keep the account structure and the eligibility decision separate when reading a tutorial about multiple trading accounts.

If the displayed country, legal name or other account information is wrong, use the platform's correction or support process with truthful information. The FAQ describes an Edit Name function for a mismatch with a legal name and tells rejected applicants to read the rejection reason and correct the issue. Nothing in those instructions supports substituting another person's identity or describing a different residence.
What a verification reset changes The FAQ says that after resetting identity verification an account becomes temporarily unverified. Deposits and trading are unavailable until the new verification is complete. For an existing account, that is a reason to understand the account state before attempting another transaction, especially when a support conversation concerns location or identity.
The same document describes notifications through the account or email when verification is rejected. A reader with a rejection should keep the actual reason and the relevant account record together. A generic online explanation about failed KYC cannot determine whether the issue is a document, an account detail or a country rule in a particular case.
Do not turn a typical processing estimate into a promise that access will be restored. A support response about processing and a decision about eligibility answer different questions. Ask the platform to identify which question it is resolving, and preserve the response alongside the terms you used for the country check.
A fee page cannot establish country access Bitget's Trading Fees FAQ answers a different question. It is useful for a fee question. It is not the document that lists prohibited locations. Quoting a cost from that page before answering whether the reader can use the exchange reverses the decision order. Source: trading fees FAQ.
For the same reason, a public product menu should not be treated as evidence that every visitor may use every product. The eligibility clauses govern access, while product terms govern particular services. A visitor researching a spot trade, futures position or deposit still needs the country question answered first. This report does not offer a fee-saving example for a U.S. reader whose platform access is excluded by the terms.
Our Bitget profile provides a place to continue research about the venue. For this query, read it alongside the official eligibility clauses rather than using a comparison page as a substitute for those clauses. The decision to transfer assets should follow an affirmative account-eligibility answer for the person's actual circumstances.
If you already have an account or a pending transfer An existing account calls for a specific support question. Tell the platform your actual location and the account action you need to resolve, such as reviewing an existing balance or a pending transfer. Ask which actions are currently permitted for that account. The pages opened for this report do not establish a universal withdrawal procedure for U.S.-restricted accounts.
Keep transaction details available for the support request: the asset, network, transfer reference, account identifier and the status actually shown. Those are items to collect from your own records, not facts this article can supply about your account. Avoid sending another deposit merely to test whether an earlier one can be credited.
For an unresolved transfer, distinguish an on-chain transaction record from an exchange credit. A support request should identify the transaction you mean and ask the platform to explain its account treatment. This article has not inspected any reader's wallet or account and assigns no recovery time, release date or guaranteed outcome to that request.
The practical sequence is to pause additional funding, preserve the relevant records, and request an account-specific answer. If a response refers to identity verification, ask whether it also resolves the country restriction. Completing one support step should not be treated as an answer to a different eligibility question.
Companies need their own assessment The terms address U.S. corporate connections separately. Bitget says it has a methodology to determine whether a corporate entity is a U.S. user under applicable U.S. regulatory regimes and is therefore prohibited from using the platform. It says compliance staff may request further information to make that assessment.
A company should therefore avoid borrowing an individual's answer about residency or identity documents. The relevant question concerns the entity and its circumstances. Collect the information the compliance team requests, identify the entity accurately, and obtain its answer before treating a corporate account as available.
The documents opened here do not provide a simple incorporation-country shortcut for every business. An overseas incorporation by itself is not an eligibility determination in the source text. Nor does a corporate support request establish that a particular product has been approved for the company. Keep the entity assessment and any product-specific conditions in the same decision record.
Quick answers before depositing ### Does being able to open the website mean Bitget is available in the USA? No. The terms explicitly include the United States in Prohibited Countries. A reachable public page is not an account-eligibility decision. Use the definitions and eligibility clauses for that question.
Does successful KYC remove the United States restriction? The verification FAQ does not say that. It sets identity-verification requirements for core services, while the terms independently set country and Restricted Person requirements. Both need to be considered.
Can a sub-account provide a different access route? The FAQ says sub-accounts inherit permissions from the verified main account. It does not describe them as an exception to country restrictions. Use accurate account information and resolve eligibility through support.
Can this article confirm that my withdrawal will be released? No account-specific release decision appears in the public sources opened here. Ask support about the existing account and transfer. Preserve its response and avoid assigning a deadline that the platform has not given you.
For broader venue research, return to the Bitget information page after recording the country-policy answer. The unresolved question for an existing U.S.-connected account is which account-management actions the platform permits in that individual case.
