OKX Opens Tokenized Stocks Like xACN and xAXTI for Spot Trading on October 23: What Traders Should Check

5 min

The short answer

On October 22, 2026, OKX announced that it will list Unified Tokenized Stocks on its spot market, starting with xACN/USDT and xAXTI/USDT on October 23, followed by more tickers through the same day. Deposits for all the assets opened at 17:00 SGT on October 22, and trading for the first pair starts at 15:00 SGT on October 23. For traders, the change is simple: you can buy price exposure to US stocks from a crypto account, 24 hours a day, with USDT. The trade-off is that you do not own shares, and the price outside US market hours is an estimate, not a live auction.

What OKX announced

OKX said it will list Unified Tokenized Stocks on its spot trading markets. Each asset is named with an uppercase X in front of the stock ticker, so the product names follow patterns such as XAAPL and XTSLA. OKX says that when several providers issue a tokenized version of the same stock, it may combine them into one on-exchange asset that trades on one order book under one set of corporate-action rules.

The product is powered by xStocks, which OKX describes as Payward's tokenized equity framework. The listing supports deposits and withdrawals of xStocks on the Solana and X Layer networks, and trades in pairs quoted in USDT. A second OKX notice published the same day covers a separate tokenized stock, xWDC, with USDC pairs. Its pre-open ran from 09:00 to 10:00 UTC on October 22, and spot trading opened at 10:00 UTC.

The schedule is staggered. The announcement lists the following spot opening times in UTC, which convert to Singapore time as shown:

Each pair has its own pre-open window, which runs one hour before trading opens. Withdrawals open later than trading for every asset, starting at 09:00 UTC on October 23 for xACN and at 12:30 UTC for xJPM.

Why the timing matters

Most traditional stock trading is tied to the New York session. Tokenized stocks on OKX are different: the venue says trading runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends. That is useful for a trader who wants to react to an earnings release, a weekend headline or a macro shock the moment it lands. It also means the price you see on a Saturday is not a continuous auction the way a New York listing is.

OKX states that outside US market hours, pricing is based on the last close plus a market estimate. In practice, the quoted price can drift from where the US market opens on Monday. Anyone trading the listing should understand that the number on the screen during off-hours is a model-based reference, and the real price is set when liquidity comes in.

Price limits are part of the same picture. During the pre-open session and the first ten minutes of continuous trading, OKX applies index-based limits to the highest bid and the lowest ask. After that period, the limit formula changes and uses a rolling premium term. OKX says it may adjust these parameters or the calculation method without prior notice, and it directs users to the spot information page for live rules. Anyone placing a large order on day one should read those rules first.

What you get and what you do not

The most important sentence in the announcement is about what the product is not. OKX says Unified Tokenized Stocks "does not represent ownership of the underlying company or confer shareholder rights such as voting." It is also not a token issued by OKX. What you hold is price exposure, plus the right to withdraw xStocks under the underlying provider's product terms.

Dividends follow a different path from a brokerage account. OKX says that when a company pays a dividend, the value is reinvested at the issuer level and passed to holders as a small increase in their share balance, net of applicable withholding tax. Trading is not paused for the payment. Traders who are used to cash dividends should check how the increase appears in their balance before they assume a yield.

The product is not open to everyone. The notice states that it has not been registered under the US Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold to US persons as defined in Regulation S, or within the United States. OKX also warns that prices can be volatile and that users may lose part or all of the money they invest.

How to act on this

If you already trade on OKX, the practical step is to look at the pairs you care about before the pre-open window. Set a limit order rather than a market order when the market is thin. Keep position sizes small until you have watched the first day of price moves, because the index-based limits and the off-hours model change how quickly a price can move. If you have not yet opened an account, you can use our OKX profile and registration link with code nexu888. For the wider market, the tokenized stocks hub tracks which products are live, and the NVDA page shows one ticker in detail.

OKX also says grid and DCA bots work on every tokenized stock pair. That can be useful for a long-term plan, but automation makes it easy to keep buying into a falling price, so define the budget and the stop before the bot starts.
