SpaceX (SPCX) Up 6.7% to $159: How to Trade It 24/7 on Bitget, OKX and Binance, Perpetual vs Stock Token (October 2026)
The short answer
SpaceX stock, ticker SPCX, is up about 6.7% in 24 hours to roughly $159, and you can trade it around the clock with USDT on Bitget, OKX and Binance, either as a perpetual contract or as a tokenized stock. A perpetual follows the price with leverage and pays or charges a funding rate; a stock token is a spot holding that tracks the share and, on some venues, passes dividends through. Right now the funding rate on all three venues is zero, which means longs and shorts are not paying each other anything to hold a position, so the move is not being driven by crowded leverage. We found no reported single cause for today's rise, and we say so below instead of guessing.

What the three exchanges show right now
We read the live contract data from each exchange at about 22:48 UTC on 20 October (06:48 on 21 October in Singapore). Binance's SPCXUSDT perpetual last traded at 158.88, against a 24-hour open of 148.91, a gain of 6.7%. The 24-hour range ran from a low of 143.62 to a high of 159.70, so the price sits at the very top of an intraday band that is about 11% wide. Binance's 24-hour turnover was about 1.61 billion dollars, and its open interest was 3,098,367 contracts, which at today's price is roughly 492 million dollars of open positions (our arithmetic: contracts times last price).
OKX's SPCX-USDT-SWAP shows the same picture: last 159.00, open 149.04, high 159.66, low 143.63. Bitget's SPCXUSDT perpetual was at 159.06, up 6.73%, with a high of 159.73 and a low of 143.60, and Bitget's index price, the reference it uses for its funding calculation, was 158.97. Three independent order books within about 20 cents of each other tell you the contract is well arbitraged against the underlying share, so the price you see is not a quirk of one venue.
Funding is zero: what that means
The funding rate is the small payment that long and short holders of a perpetual exchange every eight hours to keep the contract close to the reference price. When it is strongly positive, longs are crowded and pay shorts; when it is negative, the reverse. Bitget reports a current SPCXUSDT funding rate of 0, with a cap of plus or minus 1% per interval, and OKX reports 0 for SPCX-USDT-SWAP as well. Binance's last funding rate for SPCXUSDT is also 0. A flat zero on all three venues at once suggests the exchanges are holding the contract close to the index price, so there is no premium for funding to charge.
In plain language, nobody is paying extra to hold a long, so you would not be fighting a rising funding bill if you took a position. That is different from small altcoins, where a long can pay 0.1% every eight hours. It also means the funding board can not tell you where the crowd stands on SPCX. The funding rate board shows the crypto contracts where it can.

Open →We searched the main crypto newsrooms and the exchange announcement feeds for the last 24 hours and found no SpaceX-specific headline that explains a 6.7% day. We also could not retrieve an independent market-data page for the Nasdaq session itself, so we do not attribute the move to earnings, a launch or a lockup event. Two things are documented. First, Binance announced on 21 May 2026 that it was launching pre-IPO perpetual contracts, with SPCXUSDT first, and on 13 June 2026 it reported that SPCXUSDT had become its second-largest traded product after Bitcoin perpetuals, with 5.6 billion dollars of volume in 24 hours and 167.22 million dollars of open interest at that time. Second, today's open interest of about 492 million dollars on Binance alone, by our arithmetic, is roughly three times that June figure, while 24-hour turnover of 1.61 billion dollars is about 29% of the June peak. Positioning has grown while trading has cooled.
Binance's numbers come from its own press releases, so treat them as the exchange's claims, not audited statistics.
Perpetual or stock token: the practical differences
NexuAlpha's SpaceX page lists eight exchanges that carry SPCX, in two forms. As a stock token: Bitget lists rSPCX, OKX lists xSPCX, Binance lists SPCXB, and Bybit, Gate, MEXC, Kraken and Backpack list their own versions. As a perpetual: Bitget SPCXUSDT, OKX SPCX-USDT-SWAP and Binance SPCXUSDT, among others. The hub's data, read on 21 October, shows the following for the three venues in this article.
Article table: scroll horizontally, or focus the table area and use the arrow keys.
| Venue | Perpetual | Max leverage | Standard fee | Stock token | Dividends on the token |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bitget | SPCXUSDT | up to 75x | 0.02% maker, 0.06% taker | rSPCX | Cash in USDT, after tax |
| OKX | SPCX-USDT-SWAP | up to 75x | see the OKX profile | xSPCX | Reinvested into the token |
| Binance | SPCXUSDT | up to 20x | see the hub page | SPCXB | Reinvested into the token |
The perpetual is for short-term, leveraged views, and it pays no dividends at all; the position is a bet on price. The stock token is a spot holding: no liquidation price and no funding, but fees apply per order (Binance's bStock token lists 0.35 dollars per order, or 0.1% above 340 dollars) and the token is a claim issued by the exchange or its partner, not a share you hold in a brokerage account. Read the product page on each venue for what the token legally represents before you buy it.
How to act on this
Decide the size first. The day's range was 143.62 to 159.70. At 10x leverage, a move from the 24-hour open to the current price is a 67% change on your margin, and the same move against you would be a 67% loss; at 20x a 5% adverse move is a total loss. If you want exposure without a liquidation price, the stock token on a spot account is the lower-risk way; if you want a short-term view, use low leverage and set the exit before you enter.
For a first position, Bitget lists both the rSPCX token and the SPCXUSDT perpetual with 24/7 trading, and signing up with code nexu888 puts you on the NexuAlpha partner terms. OKX offers xSPCX and SPCX-USDT-SWAP, also with code nexu888. All eight venues with their fees and hours are on the tokenized stocks hub, and the liquidations page shows how much leverage was forced out in the last day.
What to check before you buy
Check the symbol exactly. SPCX is the stock; rSPCX, xSPCX and SPCXB are different tokens with different issuers. Check whether your country can use the product, because stock tokens and stock perpetuals are not offered everywhere and the availability list is the exchange's, not ours. Check the weekend and holiday behaviour: the contract trades 24/7, but the underlying share only trades when Nasdaq is open, so prices outside market hours reflect expectations and can gap when the stock reopens.
