Binance withdrawal outage: four checks for HYPE and five other assets

8 min

The short answer

Reports on November 6 identify HYPE, INJ, APT, PLASMA, NEAR and LTC in Binance's withdrawal reopening plan. They establish a plan for six named assets, rather than proof that your selected asset and network can already send funds. Before treating a balance as transferable, check the exact withdrawal route in your account, then distinguish a submitted request, a broadcast transaction and credit at the destination.

Odaily published its report at 18:53 SGT on November 6. PANews describes the same six assets and says the plan also covers tokens on networks that have reopened. Both attribute the development to Binance. Our analysis concerns the evidence a user needs at each stage: a network reopening headline cannot complete the checks for an individual transfer. Odaily's report.

Binance’s November 5 security-incident recovery update says withdrawals reopen progressively after security and readiness checks, with availability checked for the selected asset and network. That official context supports examining each route and transaction separately. Source: Binance, “Security Incident | Recovery Update #8” (binance.com).

What the six-asset report changes

The newly named scope gives holders a more specific thing to monitor. Instead of waiting for a general statement about withdrawals, a holder of one of these assets can inspect that asset's withdrawal options and compare the account's status with the reported plan. PANews also refers to BSC, ETH, MATIC, ARB, POL and OP among the reopened networks covered by the intended expansion. PANews's report.

Keep those labels as the reports present them. A list mixing network shorthand and asset symbols is insufficient to choose a transfer route. It does not give the destination address, supported token contract, fee, amount received or account-specific availability. Those fields belong to the withdrawal and receiving screens for the transaction you intend to make.

The reporting uses a relative weekend target. We do not turn that wording into a dated, guaranteed opening time. Neither report supplies a live status result for a particular reader. A useful follow-up would show the relevant route accepting withdrawals or a transaction actually leaving it. Until then, the change is in the reported recovery scope.

This distinction matters if you planned to move collateral or settle an obligation with an exchange balance. For your own planning, keep funds waiting for withdrawal separate from funds already received elsewhere. Do not mark the destination funded merely because the asset appears in the recovery list. That is a bookkeeping recommendation, not a claim about Binance's current processing queue.

Use four states when reading the news

We separate the transfer into four checkpoints. The first comes from the news report; the later ones require evidence about the user's actual route and transaction. Binance's withdrawal troubleshooting guide itself separates the withdrawal request, blockchain confirmation and deposit at the corresponding platform. Route availableAsset, network and current account screenWhether your request is accepted and sent

The table is our way of organizing the checks, not a new set of official status labels. It prevents one piece of evidence from answering several different questions. A report answers what Binance intends to reopen. A withdrawal record answers what happened to your request. A destination record answers what arrived.

For an existing request, start with the record you already have. Save the asset, network, address, amount, submission time and displayed status. Add the transaction identifier when it is available. Use SGT when comparing your notes with the report, and retain the original timestamp on the transaction record so that support can identify it.

Match the destination before comparing fees

Binance's official withdrawal instructions tell users to select the same network as the receiving platform supports. They also require checking whether the destination supports the token's contract address. The guide warns against choosing a network solely because its displayed fee is cheaper. Binance Support, “How to Withdraw Crypto from Binance?” (binance.com).

Begin at the destination. Read the receiving instructions for the asset you want to receive, including the network and any required memo or tag. Then compare them with the route offered on Binance. If the two screens do not describe a compatible transfer, leave the request unconfirmed while resolving the mismatch.

A shared asset symbol is not enough evidence for that comparison. Record the full route rather than writing only “HYPE withdrawal” or “LTC withdrawal” in your notes. Where a token contract is relevant, compare the contract information supported by the receiving service. Do not substitute an address or network copied from a social reply.

A reopened sending route also cannot establish that the receiving platform is ready to credit it. Check the receiving instructions again at the time you prepare the transfer. Our source review did not test an individual receiving account or any of the six withdrawal routes, so there is no route-specific availability claim here.

Read the amount field before confirming

The official Binance withdrawal guide describes two amount-entry choices. Under “Receive amount,” the network fee is added to the total withdrawal amount. Under “Withdrawal amount,” the fee is deducted and the recipient receives the remaining balance. Read the choice actually selected on your screen before comparing it with the amount you need at the destination.

This difference can matter even when an asset and network are correct. Write down the selected amount mode, displayed fee and final amount received. If your plan is to receive a particular quantity, check that quantity in the final preview. Avoid carrying an old fee figure from a previous transfer into the new request.

We have not verified a current fee or withdrawal minimum for HYPE, INJ, APT, PLASMA, NEAR or LTC. The news reports do not provide those transaction inputs. Publishing a guessed cost beside a verified recovery plan would make the article less useful: a reader could correctly identify the asset and still budget the wrong amount.

The guide suggests a small initial transfer for a newly entered address. If you choose that check, confirm the displayed amount and destination conditions first, and reconcile the result before deciding on another transfer. A test request also needs the correct asset, network and receiving details; its small size does not establish compatibility.

An old request needs its own investigation

Binance's troubleshooting guide says a withdrawal shown as “Processing” is still awaiting completion of the process. It says “Completed” means Binance has sent the funds successfully, and directs users to inspect the transaction identifier and check with the receiving exchange or wallet. Those meanings are more useful for an existing transfer than the broad reopening plan.

If your record is still processing, preserve that record and use the support path inside the service you already use. Do not infer from a news headline that a second request is needed. First establish whether the first request remains pending, has changed status or has a transaction identifier.

When there is an identifier, open its transaction details through the trusted account interface and examine the relevant network record. Match the destination and amount to your own request. Keep the identifier with your notes; an image of the asset balance cannot provide the same information about a specific transaction.

If Binance shows completion but the destination has not credited the funds, compare the receiving service's record with the transaction details. The guide directs users in this situation to the receiving exchange or wallet using the identifier. Supply the original transfer information rather than asking support to locate funds from the coin symbol alone.

The same guide says to contact Binance Support with a screenshot of withdrawal history if no transaction identifier appears after six hours. That is the published escalation instruction, rather than a promise that every recovery-related withdrawal finishes inside six hours. We have no verified account record showing how long a particular request in the current reopening process will take.

Treat compensation messages as a separate check

For a status update, return to the official service through the app or address you already use. Do not follow a direct message claiming that you must connect a wallet, provide a recovery phrase or make a payment to unlock a withdrawal. A recovery plan gives no reason to hand a stranger control of your receiving wallet.

We are not reporting a newly measured scam campaign or a verified compensation offer. This is a practical precaution for readers searching for withdrawal help: evaluate a transfer through its account record and official support channel. A message using the name of one of the six assets supplies no evidence that its sender can resolve your request.

Quick answers

Does a reopened network mean every token can already leave?

The reports describe an intention to restore withdrawals for all tokens on reopened networks. They do not demonstrate that each route is already active. Check the selected asset and network on your account screen before preparing a request.

Does “Completed” prove the destination has credited me?

Binance's guide defines it as funds successfully sent. It directs users to examine the transaction identifier and contact the receiving exchange or wallet. Keep the destination's credit record as a separate checkpoint.

What would change this analysis?

A verified live route or a new official status update would change the availability assessment for that route. An individual transaction record could establish that a particular request was sent. The reports opened for this article do not establish either result for every holder of the six assets.

First, open the asset’s withdrawal screen on Binance and match its network and destination details with the receiving service. Record the route’s current status before confirming a request. Next, follow that request in withdrawal history: save its status and TxID when available, then compare the transaction with the receiving wallet or platform’s credit record. If the request already exists, begin with its saved record rather than creating another one.
