Bitget Passes 3,000 rTokens: Tencent, BYD and Xiaomi ADRs, 2x Leveraged ETFs and What Each One Actually Gives You
The short answer
On 19 October 2026 Bitget added another batch of tokenized US-market stocks and ETFs, taking its rToken spot count to 3,035, the first time it has passed 3,000. The batch includes Chinese ADRs (Tencent as rTCEHY, BYD as rBYDDY, Xiaomi as rXIACY), 2x and 3x leveraged ETFs such as rNVDX and rSPXL, gold funds and bitcoin-mining stocks. rTokens are priced in USDT and, according to Bitget's own FAQ, are a tokenized beneficial interest in the underlying holding: you get price moves and dividends, but not voting rights. The leveraged ETF tokens are the ones to read twice before you buy.

What Bitget announced
Bitget's announcement, published on 19 October 2026, says it listed a new batch of "trending stock spot assets" that day and that the number of rToken spot assets "has officially surpassed the 3,000 mark, reaching a total of 3,035." In August, Bitget's rToken FAQ put the figure at 1,700+, so the catalogue has roughly doubled in about two months, on Bitget's own numbers.
The announcement groups the new listings by theme:

What an rToken is, in Bitget's own words
Bitget's rToken FAQ (dated 26 August 2026) describes rTokens as tokenized beneficial ownership certificates for US stocks and ETFs, issued by Reality, a platform "under Bitget" that launched them on 2 June 2026. The key points from that page:

Open →- Naming and pricing: an "r" prefix plus the ticker (rAAPL is Apple), priced and traded in USDT.
- Backing: Bitget says each token is backed 1:1 by the underlying stock or ETF, held through Alpaca Securities, a licensed US broker, and that an accounting firm, The Network Firm, publishes daily proof of reserves.
- What you get: price exposure that tracks the underlying, net cash dividends credited in USDT, and automatic adjustments for supported splits and similar corporate actions.
- What you do not get: shareholder voting rights or direct share registration. The FAQ states this plainly: it is an economic interest, not registered ownership.
- Dividend tax: cash dividends arrive after a default 30% US withholding tax, the same for every country.
- Hours: the FAQ says 24/7 trading applies to 90 mainstream assets, with the list "continuously updated"; for everything else check the asset page.
That is the issuer's description. We have not audited the reserves or the custody arrangement, and nothing here is a statement about the legal protection of a token holder if something fails.
Why the Chinese ADRs matter
Tencent, BYD and Xiaomi are among the most-searched Chinese names, and for many Asian readers the practical question is access: how do I get exposure to a company listed in Hong Kong or traded as a US ADR without a brokerage account? An rToken answers that by letting you hold exposure in USDT around the clock, if the asset's page shows 24/7 trading.
Two differences from owning the home-market shares are worth knowing. First, an ADR is a US-traded certificate of a foreign company, so the price you see tracks the ADR, not the Hong Kong line, and the two can differ. Second, Bitget's announcement labels Xiaomi's as an "Unsponsored ADR Class B"; unsponsored ADRs are set up by a bank without the company's formal involvement, which is one more layer between you and the business. The rToken adds a further layer on top. None of that makes the product unusable, but it means three links in the chain: the company, the ADR, the token.
The leveraged ETF tokens: read these twice
About a dozen of the listings in the table are tokens of leveraged ETFs, with names such as "Daily Target ETF" and "Bull 2X Shares" or "Bull 3X Shares". The word "Daily" matters: these funds set their 2x or 3x target against one day's move in the underlying. Held for longer, the result need not equal two or three times the return over that period, and in a choppy market a leveraged fund can lose value even when the underlying ends flat. That is how the product is built, and the fund's prospectus explains it.
An rToken adds no extra leverage on top; it simply mirrors the ETF. But you are holding a product designed for short holding periods. If your plan is to buy rTSLL or rSPXL and forget it for months, you are using a day-trading tool as a long-term holding. We have not read the prospectuses for these specific funds, so check each one before sizing a position, and keep the position small relative to a plain stock or index rToken.
How to act on this
Start with the asset page, not the headline. Confirm the symbol, whether it trades 24/7 or only during US hours, the quoted fee and the minimum order. If you want gold exposure, rGDX tracks gold miners, which behave differently from gold itself; rGLDM is a gold-trust token. If you want the AI trade without leverage, the plain-stock tokens we cover on the tokenized stocks hub, such as NVDA and TSLA, are the cleaner comparison.
To trade these, open the assets on Bitget; signing up with code nexu888 puts a fee rebate on your trading. Our activities page lists the current stock campaigns across venues, so you can compare before you deposit.
Quick answers
How many rTokens does Bitget list now? 3,035 as of its 19 October 2026 announcement, up from 1,700+ in its August FAQ.
Do I own the actual Tencent, BYD or Xiaomi shares? No. You hold a token that Bitget's FAQ describes as a tokenized beneficial interest, backed 1:1 by the underlying holding, with no voting rights.
Are the leveraged rTokens riskier than normal rTokens? Yes. They mirror funds that target 2x or 3x of a single day's move, so they can diverge sharply from the underlying over longer periods.
Do rToken holders get dividends? Bitget says eligible rTokens pass through net cash dividends in USDT after a default 30% US withholding tax.
Can I trade them at weekends? Only the roughly 90 mainstream assets are described as 24/7 in Bitget's August FAQ; check each asset's page.
What could we not verify? Current fees and minimums for these new tickers, the full list of the day's additions, and the fund prospectuses for the leveraged ETFs.
