Binance Pick: How to Join the Early Bird Before 21 October, the 1,000,000 USDC Prize Pools and What Scores Really Are

What Binance has announced

Everything in this section comes from Binance's announcement of 19 October 2026, "Introducing Binance Pick: Predict and Climb the Leaderboards to Share 1,000,000 USDC!". Binance calls Pick a flagship campaign that rewards trading activity. The headline number depends on the Early Bird: the more users reserve a place before the reservation window closes, the larger the prize pool that unlocks, up to the full 1,000,000 USDC. That means the figure you see today is a ceiling, not a guaranteed total, and the final pool will only be known once reservations close.

The calendar has two parts:

• Reservation (Early Bird): 19 October 2026 to 20 October 23:59:59 UTC. Reserving earns bonus Scores, and eligible new users who join earn additional bonus Scores.
• Prediction period: 21 October 00:00:00 UTC to 15 November 23:59:59 UTC, about 26 days.

For readers in Singapore time (UTC+8) the reservation window therefore ends at 07:59:59 on Wednesday 21 October, so anyone who wants the Early Bird bonus has until early Wednesday morning rather than the end of Wednesday.

How the campaign works, step by step

Binance describes four steps.

1. Join the campaign. Visit the Binance Pick page and select Join Now. Doing it during Early Bird earns bonus Scores.
2. Complete tasks to earn Scores. The task list named in the announcement is: Join Campaign or Early Bird reservation, New User Welcome, referrals, daily check-in, a Spot, Convert or Futures trading task, posting on Binance Square, and the Refill Station. Tasks vary by region because of compliance requirements, so the list on your own campaign page is the one that counts.
3. Use Scores to predict. In eligible jurisdictions you spend Scores on the markets available inside Binance Pick. You can close a position before it ends or hold it until settlement, and a correct prediction raises your Scores.
4. Climb the leaderboard. Rankings are shown on the Leaderboard page. The ranking uses your Available Scores plus Open Orders Frozen as shown on your Portfolio page; the value of open positions is not included.

One extra task deserves a sentence of its own. A Prediction Market bonus trading task exists, but it is offered through Binance Wallet to eligible Binance Wallet users in selected regions, and Binance states that the Wallet's Prediction Market is an independent product powered by Predict.fun with its own terms and regional availability. It is a separate product from the Scores-based game inside the campaign page.

The three prize pools

Rewards are split into three pools, and each has its own entry rule.

The three pools add up to exactly 1,000,000 USDC. A little arithmetic from Binance's own numbers helps set expectations. If the 500,000 USDC Season pool were shared equally among 20,000 people, each would receive 25 USDC, but Binance has not said the split is equal, and leaderboard pools are normally top-heavy, so the number is an average rather than a promise. The Weekly pool works out to an average of 12.50 USDC across 8,000 winners per week, with the same caveat. The Participation pool is the only one with a published per-person cap, 5 USDC, which means at least 20,000 qualifying check-in users would be needed to exhaust it.

Timing of payouts, again from the announcement: Season rewards within 7 business days after the season ends, Weekly rewards within 3 business days after each week ends, and the Participation Reward within 14 business days after the season ends. Unclaimed rewards expire under the Campaign Terms.

What a Score is, and what it is not

The most important sentence in the announcement is also the easiest to skip. Scores are campaign-only points used for ranking and reward allocation. They have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, transferred or exchanged for cash, and they reset at the end of the season. The terms add that users spend Scores on a virtual, simulated market that involves no real funds, so your Score balance rises or falls with prediction results while your wallet balance does not. Rewards are paid by leaderboard rank, not by converting Scores.

In practice that means two things. First, a prediction that goes wrong costs you Scores and therefore leaderboard position, not USDC. Second, because the Season board requires only more than 0 Scores and the Weekly board requires positive PnL, there are two different games: steady accumulation for the Season pool and a good week of predictions for the Weekly pool. Daily check-ins matter for both the Season Scores and the Participation Reward.

Who cannot join

The terms exclude residents and citizens of the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area (all 30 member states), Hong Kong, Singapore and any other jurisdiction on Binance's List of Prohibited Countries. Entries from those jurisdictions are not counted, however they are submitted. Participants must complete identity verification and confirm participation during the promotion period, and all participants are subject to periodic risk assessment, so accounts that fail it can lose reward eligibility. Binance also reserves the right to disqualify wash trading, bulk account registration and similar behaviour.

How to join, in order

1. Open the Binance app or website, find the Binance Pick campaign page and tap Join Now before 07:59:59 SGT on 21 October if you want the Early Bird bonus Scores.
2. Finish identity verification if your account does not have it yet; the terms require it for rewards.
3. Open the task list and check which tasks your region shows. Do the daily check-in first, because it is the one task that feeds both the Season Scores and the Participation Reward.
4. From 21 October, use Scores on the prediction markets that your region allows, and watch the Leaderboard page for the weekly snapshot on Sundays at 23:59:59 UTC.
