Do Binance bStocks Pay Dividends? The ASML and Nokia Snapshot on 27 October, and What to Do Before 07:30 SGT
The short answer
Yes, but not as cash. On 23 October 2026 Binance announced that holders of ASMLB and NOKB on the record-date snapshot at 00:00 UTC on 27 October (08:00 Singapore time) will receive the ASML and Nokia dividends, and that the net amount, after withholding taxes, fees and costs, is reinvested into more of the same bStock rather than paid out. Your displayed balance goes up through a multiplier; you get no transfer and no cash. One deadline matters if you move tokens: deposits, withdrawals and the 1:1 token conversion for both bStocks are suspended from 23:30 UTC on 26 October, which is 07:30 on 27 October in Singapore. Spot trading stays open.

Dividends earned on bStocks held in other accounts, such as Savings or Margin, are credited to your Spot account. Binance says it handles the technical requirements, so there is nothing to claim.
The underlying dividends
The bStocks only mirror what the companies decide, so it helps to see the source numbers. Nokia's investor page says its Board resolved on 22 October 2026 to distribute EUR 0.03 per share, with a record date of 27 October 2026 and a payment date of 5 November 2026; the payment date outside Finland depends on the intermediary banks. That is lower than the EUR 0.04 per share paid in May and August 2026. For ASML, the dividend history Binance links to on Nasdaq lists a cash dividend of US$2.107668 per share, declared on 15 October with an ex-dividend and record date of 27 October and payment on 4 November. The previous quarter's payment was US$2.15072, so this one is slightly lower.
Those are the companies' amounts. What reaches you is smaller, because Binance reinvests only the net amount after withholding taxes, fees, costs and other deductions. Binance's notice does not state the withholding rate for ASML or Nokia, and its FAQ describes the US-source withholding that applies to US stocks, so we could not give you one number for these two shares. Treat the company figure as an upper bound for the gross dividend, not as your payout.

How the reinvestment shows up in your balance
Binance's bStocks FAQ explains the mechanism with an example. A holder of 10 TSLAB at 250 USD with a 2.00 USD per share dividend ends up with 10.08 TSLAB: the raw on-chain amount stays at 10 and the multiplier moves from 1.0 to 1.008. The price per token drifts to about 248 USD, so the portfolio value stays near 2,500 USD before market moves. In other words, a dividend is not free money that appears on top of your position. The price of the underlying drops by roughly the dividend at the ex-date, and you hold slightly more tokens to offset it.
To estimate your own result, use this formula: new balance ≈ old balance × (1 + net dividend per share ÷ share price). A dividend of 0.8% of the price turns 100 tokens into 100.8 tokens. Your own number will differ because of withholding, fees and rounding, which Binance says it applies.
Two practical details from the FAQ. First, on a Binance account you see the multiplied balance. If you hold the token in a wallet on BNB Chain, wallets that support the BEP-677 standard show the effective balance automatically and explorers integrate the multiplier, while the raw balance does not change and no transfer event appears. Second, bStocks are not shares: holding one does not make you a shareholder or give you direct dividend or voting rights. The dividend arrives because the issuer reinvests it on your behalf.
What to do before the deadline
- Decide whether you want to hold through the snapshot. The rule is that you must hold ASMLB or NOKB at 00:00 UTC on 27 October. If you sell before then, you receive nothing for this cycle. If you buy after, you also receive nothing for this cycle. Spot trading remains open the whole time.
- Finish any deposit or withdrawal early. Binance warns that deposits and withdrawals stop at 23:30 UTC on 26 October, and that deposits should have time to be fully processed before then. A transfer that is still confirming at 07:30 SGT may miss the snapshot.
- Do any stock conversion early. The 1:1 swap between ASML or NOK shares and the bStock closes at the same minute.
- Wait for the balance to update. The multiplier moves after the snapshot. Services resume once the distribution is complete, and Binance will not announce it again.
- Check the result in the Spot account. Rewards from Savings or Margin holdings also land there.
This is the same pattern Binance used for the earlier Dell Technologies notice, whose snapshot was on 20 October; our Dell dividend walk-through shows how the timing played out. How to act on this
If your goal is the dividend, the cheapest route is to hold the tokens through the snapshot and not touch them in the last hours. If you only want to trade the news, remember that spot trading stays open and that the price around the ex-date already reflects the payment. Quick answers
Do bStocks pay dividends? Yes, through reinvestment. Binance reinvests the net dividend into more of the same underlying security and raises your balance through a multiplier.
Do I get cash? No. Binance's notice says eligible users receive dividends in the form of ASMLB and NOKB.
What is the snapshot time? 2026-10-27 00:00 UTC, which is 08:00 in Singapore and 21:00 on 26 October in Brasília.
When do deposits and withdrawals stop? 2026-10-26 23:30 UTC, or 07:30 SGT on 27 October.
Can I still trade? Yes. Trading of NOKB/USDT and ASMLB/USDT is not affected.
How much will I receive? The company dividend is EUR 0.03 per Nokia share and US$2.107668 per ASML share on Nasdaq's record, but your payout is net of withholding, fees and costs, and Binance has not published that rate for these two stocks.
What did we not verify? The withholding rate applied to these two dividends, the exact time the multiplier updates, and whether your country can access bStocks at all. bStocks are offered under an Abu Dhabi Global Market prospectus to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions, and not to US persons.
