Bitcoin falls below $77,000: check pending exchange orders
The short answer
PANews reported Bitcoin at $76,999, down 5.84% on the day, citing OKX market data on October 30. That reported price cannot tell you whether your own order filled, remains open or was canceled. Check the order's instrument, execution record and remaining quantity before placing a replacement. PANews's Bitcoin price report.
The report adds a price observation to the period covered by our suspected Binance incident tracker. This follow-up addresses a narrower account question: what evidence should a trader read when a falling-price headline appears beside a pending order? A market quote supplies context; the account's order record supplies the execution evidence.

Put the reported price on the right clock
The PANews item was published at 21:33 SGT on October 30 and attributed its $76,999 observation to OKX. Its 5.84% figure is the decline reported in that item. Keep both figures attached to that report and its time. They are not a fresh quote for the moment you open this article, a price available on every exchange or a calculation of your account's return.
The short report does not specify an exact trading pair, order-book depth or the price at which a particular customer traded. It also does not break the decline into a Binance-related component and other causes. We therefore use it as a reported market observation, without assigning the whole move to the suspected incident or using the percentage as a measure of its losses.
For an order review, first write down the product shown on your existing order. Read its full instrument name and whether your account describes it as spot or a derivative. Then compare that record with the headline. A news item that says BTC does not identify the product you selected, your order conditions or an execution against your account.
Avoid doing account arithmetic from the daily percentage alone. If you want to reconcile a completed purchase, start with the quantity and average execution price in the order record. If the purchase remains incomplete, determine what has executed before calculating the exposure you still intend to add. These are account checks, rather than a view on where Bitcoin trades next.
What an official order record distinguishes
OKX's public documentation separates order status, cumulative filled quantity and average filled price. It describes a live order as being on the book without fills, a partially filled order as partly executed and still active, and a filled order as fully executed. Canceled is a terminal status. These definitions apply to OKX's documented order system; read your own platform's descriptions if you trade elsewhere. OKX's official trading documentation.
The distinction changes the question you should ask. For a live order, investigate whether the outstanding instruction still matches what you meant to submit. For a partially filled order, examine both the executed amount and the outstanding portion. For a filled order, use its execution details to reconcile the transaction. A single word such as pending, copied from a notification, is too little information to choose among those tasks.
OKX labels accumulated filled quantity separately from the quantity of the latest individual fill. Its documentation also identifies average filled price and last filled price as separate fields. When reviewing several executions, compare the total filled amount with the order size. Do not treat the latest execution alone as the whole order. Use the average field when the question concerns the average execution recorded for that order.
You do not need to connect a new trading tool or create an API key to apply this distinction. Use the order details and trade history already available in your account. The documentation establishes the meaning of the records; it is not evidence that we have inspected your account, or that a particular order has reached one of those states.

If an order appears to be taking longer than expected, record its identifier and current status before submitting anything else. Compare the original order size with the cumulative executed quantity. Check the history as well as the open-orders screen. In OKX's documentation, pending-order results contain live and partially filled orders, while order history includes filled and canceled orders. Disappearance from the pending list therefore needs a history check.
Suppose your record shows a partial execution. Review that executed amount before deciding whether the remaining instruction should stay open. If you choose to request cancellation, return to the order record afterward and inspect its final state and total executed amount. This is a sequence for keeping your own records straight, not an instruction to cancel a position because a price report is negative.
OKX explicitly says a successful cancellation-request response means the server accepted the request; the result must be checked in the order state. In your normal account interface, return to the original order and confirm its final status. Treat an acknowledgement that you requested cancellation as a reason to check the record again, rather than as the final result.
A canceled status also needs its quantity fields. OKX explicitly notes that an immediate-or-cancel order can have a nonzero cumulative filled quantity when it was partially executed before cancellation. Reading the cancellation label alone would miss those executions. If that situation appears in your record, reconcile the filled amount before deciding whether any replacement is needed.
For support, preserve the order identifier, instrument, order size, displayed status and execution details together. Describe the discrepancy you actually see: an unexpected fill quantity, a status that differs between screens or a missing history entry. A question tied to an identifiable order is more precise than asking why a Bitcoin headline says a different price.
A trade record cannot settle a withdrawal question
Keep any transfer review separate from the trade review. A price report does not show that your withdrawal has been broadcast or that a deposit has reached its destination. Likewise, the OKX order definitions cited here describe trading records, without establishing the current withdrawal status of Binance or any other venue.
If you also have a pending transfer, open that transfer's existing record and compare the asset, network, amount and destination with your own request. Where the account supplies a transaction reference, preserve it with the record. Ask the platform about the specific transfer if its displayed state is unclear. Do not infer completion from a filled trade or infer failure from Bitcoin's reported daily decline.
For the suspected Binance incident, use the existing tracker for the wider reporting context and the platform's official channels for instructions about your account. This article adds no new verified loss estimate, recovery total or platform-wide service status. Its market observation concerns Bitcoin; its order analysis concerns the evidence needed to understand an instruction already placed.
Use market boards to frame a question
The NexuAlpha liquidation board and funding-rate board are places to examine market conditions alongside an order review. Read the timestamps, instruments and observation windows displayed there before comparing a reading with the PANews report. This article does not attach a current numerical reading to either board.
If you inspect liquidations, ask which period and venues the page covers. A number for a particular window cannot by itself establish why your order executed or the state of your account. Match the observation period to the question you are researching, rather than combining figures merely because they appear on the same day.
For funding, identify the contract and period before comparing it with another reading. Keep that market context separate from the order's actual fill details. A board can prompt a useful question about the product you hold; it does not replace the account record needed to answer what you bought or sold.
These checks are especially useful when sharing screenshots. Include the timestamp and product label with a market reading, and remove personal account information from anything you share publicly. If a screenshot contains only a price, do not describe it as proof of a completed order, a withdrawal restriction or the amount lost in an incident.
Keep compensation messages outside the order workflow
Treat an unsolicited message offering Binance compensation as a separate security question. Do not follow a private-message link to repair an order or release a withdrawal. Open the app or website through the route you already use, then check the official support and status information there. Neither the PANews price item nor the OKX order documentation announces a compensation process.
If a sender asks for a wallet connection, an advance payment or account credentials, leave that request unanswered and verify the alleged procedure through official channels. This is a preventive instruction; the sources cited here do not document a particular fraudulent message received by an individual reader. A message repeating $76,999 or 5.84% has merely repeated a public number.
When contacting support about an order, describe the trading issue without moving the conversation into a compensation offer. Keep the original order details available for the official support process. You do not need to establish the final explanation of the suspected Binance incident to ask where an existing instruction stands.
Quick answers from the order record
Does $76,999 mean my order filled at that price?
No. PANews reported that market observation using OKX data. It did not inspect your order. Read your account's execution quantity and price, matching the instrument and order identifier to the instruction you placed.
If an order says canceled, can part of it have traded?
Yes, in the specific case OKX documents: an immediate-or-cancel order may be partially filled before cancellation, leaving a nonzero cumulative filled quantity. Check the execution record alongside the status rather than assuming the label means nothing traded.
Does the 5.84% fall establish the cause of the move?
The PANews item supplies a reported price and daily change. It does not isolate a cause or quantify an incident-related share of that decline. Keep any explanation of the suspected incident tied to separately verified reporting in the tracker.
What should I save if the account screens disagree?
Save the order identifier, full instrument, status, quantity and execution information with the time you checked them. Compare the open-order view with history, then ask official support about the exact disagreement. Recheck that original record before placing a replacement instruction.
