Bitget copy trading adds CSXUSDT, PGUSDT and SPOTUSDT: check pairs, margin and copied orders

6 min

The short answer

Bitget.com has added CSXUSDT, PGUSDT and SPOTUSDT perpetual futures to its futures copy trading service, according to the official announcement checked on 25 October, Singapore Time (SGT). Followers can select eligible elite traders, but their own pair preferences, copy mode and execution limits determine which orders are copied; check those settings before adding these contracts. What changed

The announcement names three contracts and directs elite traders to the futures elite trading section. Followers can select the corresponding elite traders to copy. The change concerns the contracts supported by futures copy trading; the notice does not provide a separate launch schedule for each pair. [Source: announcement]

The notice describes copying as mirroring an elite trader's position changes under the follower's selected allocation method. Opening, increasing, reducing and closing a position are among the actions it describes. The follower still chooses the trader and configures the copying arrangement. [Source: announcement]

The announcement page displays a publication date of 23 October. Its displayed clock has no timezone label, so it is not reproduced here as an SGT publication time. This article's source review took place on 25 October SGT. [Source: announcement]

What this means for an existing follower

Start with the trading-pair preferences in your copy settings. The official copier guide says all supported pairs are selected by default, that individual pairs can be deselected, and that automatic copying of newly listed pairs can be disabled. Those controls matter when a supported-pair list expands: inspect whether CSXUSDT, PGUSDT and SPOTUSDT are included in your own selection. [Source: copier]

The announcement alone does not show your account's settings or establish that a particular trader has opened one of these contracts. Check the trader profile and your Copy Details page as separate steps. The copier guide directs users to review a trader's statistics and trading history before selecting Copy. The Bitget profile provides the venue overview. For this update, the useful starting question is narrower: does your existing copying arrangement permit these exact pairs, and what amount could its next order use? The pair preferences and allocation settings in the official guide are the controls to inspect. [Source: copier]

Set the allocation before following a new pair

The copier guide describes Fixed Ratio and Fixed Margin modes. Fixed Ratio sizes a copied trade relative to the trader's equity. Fixed Margin assigns a set USDT margin to each copied trade. These are different instructions for position sizing, so identify which mode your arrangement uses before reading the trader's order size as your own. [Source: copier]

For Fixed Margin, the number to check is the USDT amount configured for each copied trade. For Fixed Ratio, inspect the ratio together with the maximum margin percentage allowed for one copied trade. The limits guide says that when a calculated order exceeds that percentage, the copied position is reduced to the permitted margin. [Sources: copier, limits]

The official copier guide sets an initial transfer minimum of 50 USDT. A trader can require a higher minimum, in which case the transfer must meet that threshold. It also describes a dedicated copy trading account, independent of the main account, with a separate sub-account for each followed trader. [Source: copier]

The guide lets followers either follow the trader's leverage or select fixed leverage between 1x and 10x. Treat that as a setting described for the copying service, not a contract-specific maximum for the three additions: the listing notice does not publish their individual leverage or margin tables. Why an eligible order can be smaller or absent

Pair support is only one condition. The limits guide says entry orders can be reduced, capped or rejected because of margin, quantity or position-value limits. A follower cannot manually change the platform's limits, although the follower can change personal copy settings such as allocation and margin caps. [Source: limits]

For new copy trading, the guide describes limits on the entry value and opening quantity of each copied order. It says the quantity limit is adjusted using order-book liquidity. If the calculated quantity exceeds the permitted amount, only the allowed quantity is copied. Find the latest applicable limits in the contract details or Copy Trade Information screen. [Source: limits]

Slippage is another filter. The copier guide specifies a default limit of 0.5%, with a configurable range of 0.1% to 3%. Orders outside the selected limit are not copied. Read a skipped-order message alongside that setting before assuming the new pair is unavailable. [Source: copier]

The limits guide also distinguishes total open-position value from the margin used for one order. It gives 1,000,000 USDT as the default and platform maximum total open-position value under one trader for new copy trading. At that cap, new entries stop while existing positions remain open; entries can resume when the total falls below the limit. [Source: limits]

If the elite trader holds both long and short positions in the same contract, quantity caps can affect the two sides differently. The limits guide says the resulting copied positions may no longer be balanced. Compare your actual long and short quantities after an execution instead of assuming the trader's position structure has been reproduced in full. [Source: limits]

How to act on this

Open Trade or Futures in the app, then Tools and Copy, and select the Futures section as described in the official copier guide. Review the trader, the three pair selections, allocation, leverage and slippage before confirming. Return to the Bitget profile for the broader venue comparison; for an existing arrangement, use My Copy Trades and the trader's Copy Details to inspect the positions actually opened. [Source: copier]

The guide offers two ways to stop copying: close all positions at market immediately, or stop new entries while following the trader's closing actions for existing positions. Read the selected exit option before confirmation, because stopping new entries and closing current positions describe different outcomes. [Source: copier]

What we could not verify

The announcement does not specify the three contracts' individual fees, leverage ceilings, funding rates or present liquidity. We did not inspect a logged-in account, the trader's current positions or the follower's current selections. The displayed announcement clock lacks a timezone label. The linked Academy page returned a JavaScript shell and was not used for claims. [Sources: announcement, copier]
