OKX deposit networks and minimums: USDT on BSC is unsupported, and each route's minimum is on your deposit page
The short answer
OKX lists its deposit networks and each route's minimum inside your account: open Assets, then Deposit, pick the coin and read the options under the network field. The check that saves you a lost transfer is to do this before you touch the sending platform, because OKX says a deposit under the displayed minimum will not be credited, and a wrong network can lose the funds. OKX also names one common trap: USDT on the BSC network is not supported, even though BNB on the same network is.
There is no fixed number to memorize, and we could not find a public OKX table of minimums by network. The figures sit on the logged-in deposit page, and OKX's API documentation ties the available currency list to your account's KYC entity. Two people in two markets may see different screens, so your own page is the one that counts.

Where OKX shows each number
OKX puts almost everything you need on one screen. Its app guide says the deposit page shows the minimum amount, the required confirmations and the contract address.
Article table: scroll horizontally, or focus the table area and use the arrow keys.
| What you need | Where it appears | What OKX says about it |
|---|---|---|
| Supported networks | Assets > Deposit > select crypto > network list | Some coins support only one network |
| Minimum deposit | Same page, after choosing the network | Below it, funds are not credited |
| Confirmations | Same page | Crediting and withdrawal release can be two different counts |
| Contract address | Token contract, on the same page | Must match on both platforms |
| Tag, memo or comment | Shown with the address when required | A reminder must be acknowledged first |
| Receiving fee | Not charged | The party withdrawing pays |
The route on the app is Assets > Deposit > Deposit crypto. On the web it is Assets > Deposit, then scroll through Select Network. OKX's deposit FAQ describes both. You must complete identity verification before depositing, and a frozen or restricted account may have limited deposit functions.
What the API documentation adds
OKX's currency endpoint needs an API key, so we could not read live values from it. Its field list still shows what OKX tracks for every chain, per the OKX API documentation: canDep says whether deposits from that chain are available, minDep is the minimum for a single deposit, minDepArrivalConfirm is the confirmations needed before crediting, and minWdUnlockConfirm is the confirmations needed before withdrawal. depQuotaFixed is a fixed deposit limit in USD, and it comes back empty when no limit applies. So a route can be switched off, or capped, without any change to the coin's name on the screen.
Why USDT on BSC catches people
The sending platform often offers BEP20 as its cheapest USDT route. We read Bitget's public coin data at about 20:52 SGT on November 7, 2026, to see what that looks like from the sender's side.
Article table: scroll horizontally, or focus the table area and use the arrow keys.
| USDT network on Bitget | Bitget withdrawal fee (USDT) | Bitget's own deposit minimum (USDT) | Bitget's deposit confirmations |
|---|---|---|---|
| BEP20 | 0.01 | 0.01 | 15 |
| Optimism | 0.014 | 0.01 | 50 |
| Aptos | 0.03 | 0.01 | 10 |
| Polygon | 0.07 | 0.01 | 60 |
| Arbitrum One | 0.1 | 0.01 | 12 |
| Solana | 0.5 | 0.01 | 5 |
| TRC20 | 1.5 | 0.01 | 3 |
| ERC20 | 2 | 0.5 | 12 |
These are Bitget's numbers, shown to explain the sender's choice. They are not OKX minimums, and the table covers eight of the 12 USDT networks in Bitget's data. Two things stand out. The lowest fee on the list is on the one route OKX tells you it does not accept for USDT. And on the same exchange, the same coin has a minimum 50 times higher on ERC20 (0.5 USDT) than on TRC20 (0.01 USDT), which is why a minimum you remember from another coin or chain tells you little.
The saving is also small next to the risk. Moving from ERC20 to TRC20 saves 0.5 USDT on this table, and from TRC20 to Arbitrum One saves 1.4 USDT. If you are sending 500 USDT, the wrong network puts all 500 at risk to save about a dollar. Before you pick the cheapest row, confirm that the same network name appears on your OKX deposit page.
OKX's network guide adds a naming point: BEP20, BSC and Binance Smart Chain all mean BNB Smart Chain on its platform. A label on the sending side that reads differently may still be the unsupported route.

What happens under the minimum
OKX's pages agree that a deposit under the minimum is not credited. They differ on what comes after, so plan as if the money is gone.
The minimum-deposit article, updated August 5, 2026, says such funds will not be credited or refunded. The deposit troubleshooting page says OKX cannot process, reverse or refund them. The fee guide is a little softer: recovery of below-minimum deposits is supported only for certain crypto, you have to contact customer support, and additional recovery fees apply. It does not list the coins or the fee.
OKX's stated reason is mechanical. Its explanation says funds are credited once they meet aggregation conditions, and a very small balance at an address may not cover the miner fee for moving it on-chain.
The sender's fee matters here too. Compare the amount that will arrive with the minimum, and leave some room. OKX's fee guide says the withdrawing party pays the network fee, and on OKX's own withdrawal page the fee can come out of the amount when you choose Withdraw all. Other platforms have their own rules, so read the "you will receive" line on the sending screen.
What this means for you: five checks before you confirm the transfer
- Open the OKX deposit page first and choose the coin and network there. Stop if the pair is missing. OKX says a token and network you cannot find on that page is unsupported, and the assets may be lost.
- Check that the network name on the sending platform matches the one you picked. OKX's example is USDG-ERC20 on both sides.
- Compare the contract address if the token could exist in several versions. OKX calls it the token's ID for confirming that both platforms support the same asset.
- Copy the tag, memo or comment along with the address when OKX shows one. Its guide uses XRP as the example, and says a missing tag can mean losing the assets.
- Read the minimum, then check the amount arriving after the sender's fee.
The address and memo guide also helps if you send regularly. You can create up to 20 deposit addresses, they cannot be deleted, and all of them can receive funds. You can choose whether a deposit lands in your Funding or Trading account.
Saved addresses need one more look. OKX says some deposit addresses were updated on March 27, 2025 during a system upgrade. Old addresses stay valid, but if you whitelisted one on another platform, OKX asks you to update it. Some tokens also lost support on some networks, so an address book entry from last year proves nothing about today's route.
Your deposit is on-chain but has not arrived
Start with the status. On the web, open Deposit and scroll to All deposits, where the Progress and Status columns show how far it has come. On the app, the History icon is at the top right of the Select asset page. Per OKX's progress guide, the details may include the deposit network, receiving address, TxID and both confirmation counts.
Those two counts explain a common worry. One is what is needed for crediting, and the other is what is needed before you can withdraw or sell through P2P. A deposit that has passed the first but not the second can appear in your balance and still be unavailable to withdraw or sell.
The troubleshooting page lists the other usual causes:
- The transaction has not reached the required confirmations, or is not on-chain at all. For the second case, OKX points you to the sending platform's support.
- Wrong coin, address, network, or tag.
- A deposit sent to a smart contract address that is not supported.
- Blockchain mining rewards sent directly, which OKX does not accept.
- Several deposit requests combined into one transaction.
- An asset that is not tradable or supported on OKX.
For some of these, OKX tells you to contact customer support and does not promise recovery. OKX's system status feed showed no scheduled maintenance entries when we read it at about 20:52 SGT, but it does not report the state of each chain's deposits. If a route is suspended, OKX's FAQ says to wait for the maintenance or upgrade to finish.
What we could not confirm
We could not read OKX's live minimums, confirmation counts or full network list for any coin, because those sit behind a login or an API key. We also could not establish which coins qualify for below-minimum recovery or what that recovery costs. Bitget's data cannot stand in for OKX's, and whether any row in the table above is open on your OKX account is something only your deposit page can show.
After the deposit: what a trade costs you
If you are funding an account to trade, the deposit itself is free to receive, and the running cost is the trading fee. Using our partner data for November 7, a $10,000 perpetual trade on Bitget at the 0.06% taker rate costs $6, and the 60% rebate returns $3.60, settled daily. On OKX, the same trade at 0.05% costs $5, and the 20% rebate returns $1, settled hourly. Both use the code nexu888. That is one trade's fee, and the rebate applies to fees paid, not to the amount you deposit. Our Bitget profile and OKX profile have the sign-up path.
Older guides on the site cover the steps around this one. See who pays OKX deposit fees and the same network check on Binance. If you still need the coins, read how to buy USDT on OKX. For fees and sign-up on either side of the transfer, go back to the Bitget page or the OKX page.
